  1. Thanks for the heads up. It will be interesting to follow McCall's career next year to see how it plays out.
  2. Thanks for clearing that up. Most reports about what happened are not as concise as yours were.
  3. 9000+ Total yds 94 total tds 8 ints in 3 years as starter. This is huge and if he finds a good fit he could be in for a HUGE year. Good luck
  4. Thanks for the great post that saved me from doing a lot of research.
  5. That is my question as well? How much was the total amount of money that Tepper lost on this blown project?
  6. That is great that you have that type back ground that helps afford you insight on a personal level.
  7. Hmmm!!!! Who would ever have thought anyone on the Huddle would say something that wasn't the gospel truth?
  8. The 49ers may not be a one and team in the playoffs but I cannot for the life of me see them have a long run in it.
  9. This will certainly be a feel good story if QB Brock Purdy, a 7th rd draft choice, finds continued success in the NFL. Purdy is fortunate to be on a playoff caliber team that has a QB friendly system, one that has helped him to this point. He is still at a very young stage in his NFL career, so it will be interesting, to say the least, to see how he trends in the future.
  10. Chuba Hubbard came across as being well spoken, very likable and is not a bad running back.
  11. This has all the makings of a low scoring affair, especially if Pickett doesn’t take the field for the Steelers. Pittsburgh struggled vs the running game of Baltimore last week and it should be more of the same vs the running attack of the Panthers on Sunday. Panthers are favored in the betting line by 2.5 points I predict Panthers 17 Steelers 10
  12. I agree!!! I think that not answering the door might have been a good decision!!!
  13. Regardless of what you may think of Florida QB Anthony Richardson, I will be surprised if he doesn't get drafted in the 1st rd and earlier than some expect.
  14. The same old time told story, "Money Talks".
  15. Considering how big Paul Silas was and how small George Shinn was, I cannot say I blame Shinn for avoiding Silas, who was probably pretty upset
  16. By the time the Panthers go on the clock in the 1st rd. of the 2023 NFL Draft, top rated QB's Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud and Will Levis will probably already have been selected. The good news is that QB Tanner McKee and Anthony Richardson could still be there and of the 2, my choice would be Anthony Richardson who seems to have a higher upside of untapped talent.
  17. It would be nice to stay below pick # 10 in the 1st rd. but it would also be nice to be in the playoffs, the sceniro I would prefer.
  18. Exactly. The excitement of a playoff game is on another level all together.
  19. If it is digital, what would the scalper have to do to transfer the ticket to someone else?.
  20. The Panthers need to re-sign Foreman, a 27 year old power back with little wear on his body that will be playing behind a good offensive line. I believe a 2 Year $10 Million Deal gets Foreman re-signed. NFL teams in general, will usually not value a 27 Year old RB so highly as to give out big contracts,
  21. The Ravens made a big mistake when they let Bozeman go, when they could have resigned him at a team friendly price. He selected by the Ravens in the sixth round (215th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft. He spent the first two years of his career at left guard before moving to his natural position at center last season where he started all 16 games.
  22. I would like for the Panthers to retain Steve Wilks as head coach but if they don't, Ken Dorsey, Buffalo Bills first-year offensive coordinator would be my choice. Plus, Tepper is offensive minded so this hiring might suit him also. Ken Dorsey is doing an excellent job with Josh Allen and company so far, Miami Dolphins loss and post-game temper tantrum notwithstanding. He’s also young, has a relatively well-known name (especially in the South) from his time as QB of the Miami Hurricanes, and was with the Panthers for six seasons, including for Cam Newton’s MVP season and the team’s last Super Bowl appearance.
