  1. I know this will not happen because the NFL doesn't work this way but it would be nice to see PJ and Cam both play for periods in all of the remaining games.
  2. I wondered that at the time. Common sense should tell one to let someone prove themself before locking into a long term deal. This was not a minor oversight but a major mistake on their part. .
  3. I would like to trade Robby and his attitude while his value is somewhat high. Plus,he is so pencil thin i shutter every time he is tackled, just hoping he gets up.
  4. I hope Panther fans that are geting on a present super high, will not come crashing down to earth to hard if Cam is not the saviour they expect him to be.
  5. With the joke of an offensive line, this years Panthers team is going nowhere. Obtaining Cam Newton is an upgrade at the postion but if he is capable of getting us a couple more wins it will only hurt our chance in the draft. While i wish Cam good luck, i cannot see that his signing will be beneficial to the Panthers in the long run.
  6. Finding and hiring a football coach is an imperfect science. Building the perfect NFL coach isn’t any easier. All you have to do is look at the hiring and firing numbers in the NFL over the last five years to realize that. Since the end of the 2016 season, the league’s 32 teams have hired 33 head coaches. Nine teams are on their second swing at the coaching piñata during that period. Every owner and general manager has an idea of what they want in a head coach and how to find the best man for the job. They spend weeks researching and interviewing prospective candidates. They talk to dozens of people who have employed them, worked with them, coached against them. And yet, 33 coaching hires in five years.
  7. I just looked into my crystal ball, once owned by the great "Nostra Dumb Azz and it said Arizona would beat Carolina Sunday.
  8. Even if we had taken Fields, i am not sure he would have reached any of his potential behind our pitiful OL and coaches that seem to have no clue on game planing. Fields would have probably ended up as shell shocked here as Sam Darnold became with the Jets.
  9. Something the Panthers do not have.
  10. Thanks for the infro. Being stuck with that much money will certainly suck, no doubt .
  11. The Panthers picked up the fifth-year option on Sam Darnolds rookie contract. This means he will now make $18.9 million for the 2022 season. Will some salary cap wise person, please inform me about the amount of salary cap hit the team would take if they release him in 2022. Also, how could we get around paying him other than a trade, which would be almost impossible to find an interested team?.
  12. It is heart breaking to have such a good defense and such a poor offense. Life in the NFL can certainly be hard to teams like ours that are so unbalanced..
  13. QB and OL are not the Panthers only problem. Until some serious changes are made to this coaching staff we can expect the same inept games from the team.
  14. I stopped having faith in Mel Kiper after he made the exclamation about how great Jimmy Clausen was and how good an NFL QB he would become.
  15. Pardon me for saying so but they both have that " there's just something not right about them" in their makeup and personality.
  16. That sums up the current Panthers team very nicely.
  17. People on the Huddle keep talking about how bad Sam is at Q B. Lets first start talking about how inept our coaching staff is and work our way down from that point when playing the blame game.

    CMC's return

I am a CMC fan but I fully agree that we should trade him when healthy and use money paid him on other players. The Panthers should never have paid him the salary that they did since the playing life of a RB is short due to all the hits they take.
  19. I am satisfied that we picked CB Jaycee Horn this year instead of Mac Jones or another rookie QB. In my opinion, Jones will not succeed to heights of the greats but becoming a starter in NFL is succeeding! How long it will last I don't know but I doubt he’s a household name or top 10 QB in the next 5 to 10 years!
  20. Sadly the train has left the station and Odell Beckham has failed to get on it.
