Seen series like this a lot in the past and the Hurricanes need a big goal output in game 4. A blowout would help the moral a ton but they have to win a tough hard fought game, probably 2 to make this a reality as a huge turnaround in this series. It feels unlikely as Florida has a winning formula and no team has cracked it yet. Hurricanes need to get this team out of their comfort zone right now

This Florida team reminds me of some old NJ Devils teams that just dominated defending and had a G you just couldn’t beat. These guys are grinders and Rod has to appreciate that even at his own expense. They have faced multiple OT games in these playoffs and not sure they have lost yet. They are feeling invincible in these close situations

This rule was definitely needed without question. I can’t wait for some team to grab and extra cookie from the jar somewhere and ruin it for everyone else. It feels like this is an extra roster spot at QB which is fine but someone will exploit this somehow. Maybe this means 32 less free agents available in a crunch. Interesting to see where this goes
