Just giving him his due. He could have skipped the combine..*cough* like Young but didn’t. He did all the drills and work while a very healthy Bryce Young stood around watching.

I think Young is the better player but it is close. CJ does stick in the pocket a little more than Young. Size is definitely a consideration especially when Young’s game is predicated on moving around and improvising with which he is an absolutely a magician but can he consistently get away with that in the NFL? Questionable. Having a CJ Stroud day today. IMO, Bryce played against top defensive talent more and dominated but Stroud is so fuggin accurate and is clearly still improving. If you look at flat stats Stroud was incredible. Damn this is a tough decision for me.

He has looked great in all these post season events as well. Awesome at the combine and pro day.

Will have to admit it would be hard for anyone to look better than CJ looked from that Georgia game on. He has been like perfect basically. The guy hasn’t skipped anything either except maybe the 40 but that is irrelevant honestly

I agree with you here. Having to compare him to a small guy in another sport is pretty ridiculous. Steph has probably never been trucked by a 250 LB playing basketball
