I think the chances the Saints move up to 5 are very high. Seems inevitable. Almost certainly for a QB but a slight maybe for OT. Gotta be QB though IMO.

Compare Corral with Pickett in terms of dedication to getting better and it isn’t close. Pickett has worked for like 5 years with a QB guru to improve his game. To say he will work his ass off is an given. Corral? Dunno Seriously all these dudes could bust but Pickett is the most proven at this time. I am sold on that.

Wait…Corral has a history of missing wide open reads very badly. Just because he played in the SEC doesn’t mean he was the better QB. I can just boil it down to him being raw…which he definitely is but I am not sold he is ready to work to be great. As to your comment on his coaching it is very apparent that Lane Kiffin and that offense helped him immensely last season. Kiffin may not be liked much but he can scheme some ridiculous offensive plays.

Not sure why but something is just off with him. The injuries are red flags but just not quite sure he is totally engaged

I have said this and IMO it would make sense in a logical situation but offer Cleveland a 3 next draft and they take back Darnold. They get something and we basically trade Darnold for Baker. Problem is Baker would want assurances we don’t pick a QB in this draft cuz he couldn’t mentally handle it otherwise. Anyway…Baker is a no go unless we go OT at 6…then maybe we revisit this. Maybe not as Baker doesn’t move the needle much even if he is a better player than Darnold

Great post…thanks. The biggest complement I can give Luke is that the way he dominated and could read the opposing offense like a book was incredibly impressive. When he wasn’t there it was immediately apparent how difficult any of these other guys find it to be that guy. Impossible. Luke is an all time great IMO. BTW: I remember Hurney actually wanted Mark Barron but he went before us. Thankfully

I think Ikey might bust. We evaluate this dude against competition and he was average. Lots of reaching blocks and he might have weight issues. Neal is so much more refined as a player. Penning is extremely underrated as a LT prospect. Really good athleticism. Concerned about his his jump in comp but this dude is huge, strong and nasty. Do like Penning

Gettleman was really bad for them. Similar situation with picking Daniel Jones that high. He reached. OT drafting was suspect as well. I think he has a belief in building a team that was behind the curve.
