  1. I was thinking thinking DWill and Gary might have a found the third member of their wolfpack
  2. Sam didn’t move the ball at all vs NE. 1, 6, 12, 3, 3, 5. That is the yardage of every Panther drive in the first half. 2nd half 4 , INT, INT, INT.
  3. Gary bringing nothing but straight facts. Anybody could of beaten the Cards. McCoy hadn’t played in 5 years. Guess he missed McCoy and AZ dismantling the 49ers the week prior. We lost to the Falcons. I missed that secret game. Anyone can score on the #4 defense if they get close. Getting in and scoring isn’t impressive. Gary was super emotional. Even DeAngelo got to a point where he was like….you okay? And even implied Gary needed to show Cam some respect. Imagine what a hater you have to be for DeAngelo to get uncomfortable with it lol.
  4. I gave it a try. Made it 1 minute in and they were talking about making homemade pickles and was out lol.
  5. I just want 2020 NE Cam. That paired with CMC + this D is a winning formula. Only 2015ish Cam I am expecting is his energy and leadership.
  6. Not the last 5 weeks he hasn't. Sam has been worse than PJ. Sam imploded games the D locked up early like they did on Sunday. and Sam vs the Jets and that window wasn't better than PJ. That was PJ level play. That's always been the point, we spent all those draft picks on a guy who that when he is "good" is a PJ Walker tier QB.
  7. I still think they should of dialed back CMC more than they did. They still had him IMO pointlessly in too late in the game. Hubbard and Adbullah could of taken over earlier.
  8. We were up 17-0 in the first quarter. 23-0 at half. Matt Rhule addressed it post game that jumping out to such a big lead so quick, forced them to take all the deep balls out of the script they were going to run and to a work the clock mentality over making big plays. Stats only tell part of any story. Sam Darnold can't sit in a pocket like PJ. Sam Darnold gets shook when asked to read and look downfield and everyone knows it. I mean, that isn't PJ. PJ has his own flaws that are uniquely different than Sam's. They aren't similar. As players or the eye test. Sam Darnold sucks. Sam Darnold was a massive mistake. PJ Walker is just a backup QB. One that is 2-0 when called upon to be the backup QB. These things aren't the same.
  9. I mean, if PJ was going to implode the team in a Sam like manner....well, the opporunity was there. Yet, the O kept putting Cam on the goaline for the glory. Even Cam referenced the reality of that. PJ is a backup QB that has done his job twice for us. He doesn't suck if you acknowledge the job he actually has. He is a backup QB. He looks the part.
  10. PJ didn't get most of the starting reps heading into his first start. They were hoping to start Teddy. What he was allowed to do in that game....is actually be part of a balanced offensive gameplan. You throw any green QB out there down by multiple scores and ask them to pass everydown? They generally are going to suck because of the scenario. Especially one that isn't risk adverse. PJ doesn't suck. PJ is a backup level QB. That's his job. The problem isn't PJ, it's how people choose to judge him IMO. Twice, he has legitmately been asked to come in and start and game and we found ways to win. PJ doesn't suck. PJ largely does his job. Inserted into games to orchestrate comebacks down multiple scores isn't his job....but it is the primary measure some use to evaluate him. Sam Darnold sucks. Sam has imploded defensive efforts like the one we just saw in AZ. And he isn't a backup QB.
  11. the worst QB in the NFL will make a OL look worse than it is. Obivously, it's not a great OL. QBs can either help a OL or hurt it. No doubt Sam brought out the worst in the them.
  12. Well, how the rest of the season goes will determine where it ranks.
  13. I thought one of his was bolgana yesterday in his defense. First one. Those refs were calling it too tight. DJ's offensive PT too.
  14. gonna be a lot of Washington fans. Always are for that game. And there were some pretty good prices for tickets right before we signed Cam.
  15. yep. Throw Gilmore on McLauren. Defense should feast.
  16. You have to start Cam. It’s the first game in Charlotte. You can script an opening drive and then let him be variation of what he was this weekend (but bigger). give PJ some between the 20s work so a full playbook has to be defended. But Cam needs to be the starter. And eventually he becomes the full time guy when he gets enough of the system down. But it would be incredibly dumb not to start him and let the energy take over to start that game Sunday. It will be nuts.
  17. Cam needs most of the reps to get up to speed and learn as much as possible. He also needs to start. Talk about energy. That will be crazy. all that said, yeah, PJ needs to come in and get work between the 20s. Cam isn’t going to learn enough in a week….and Ron Rivera knows Cam way too well to have him running just simple Cam plays for 4 quarters, no real audible ability, etc.
  18. Cardinals are a top 5 defense. PJ's performance wasn't awful no matter the mental gymnastics to make it so. Patrick Mahomes was just okay last night if you take away Kelce and Hill.
  19. Saying Gilmore is better than Jackson isn’t being disrespectful to Jackson. Nor is it not appreciating his season this year. You gotta face Aaron Rodgers and put someone on Devante Adams one on one for a game? Who would you want?
  20. I don’t think anyone suggests such. Cam hasn’t even been in the building a week though. A neutered down playbook of Cam basics for 4 quarters vs Ron Rivera just doesn’t seem like an ideal move though. I’m cool with PJ getting some between the 20s work for another week
  21. The argument for PJ to “start” next week. 1. PJ doesn’t lose 2. If Cam is the guy next week it will be a dialed down playbook of what Cam likes. That was today. Now we can probably expand it next week vs today but it will still be very small playbook. The problem with that is the matchup. Ron Rivera is a tad controversial around here as coach but he is a very good defensive coach. Name a coach in the NFL that knows Cam’s strength and weakness better than Ron. What he likes and hates. I mean that is Ron. I just think it is putting Cam in a tough spot with a neutered playbook vs Rivera. I’d like the QB committee to continue one more week. That gives Cam more than one week before being the full time guy. But his role should be bigger next week even if a committee is used. well, technically start Cam to get the crowd hype . But I think you give PJ some work between the 20s so more plays have to be defended
  22. Reddick has been the most impactful IMO. Gilmore IMO is the best actual player on defense though. Reddick IMO is priority #1 because of his positional value. Pass rush simply matters. But Gilmore is on another planet compared to Jackson
  23. I mean if you can keep Gilmore and the cost is losing Jackson. That’s an easy call. give me the Gamecock duo on the outside Reddick probably the most important guy to keep
