Saying someone had a disappointing year doesn’t make them comparable to Bryce. Peyton Manning also rewrote the rookie record book while disappointing. He still showed potential and reason to excited. And he was a lab built NFL QB. Trevor Lawerence’s starting WR is depth for Bryce Young. Bryce’s skill talent is weak and yet better than Trevors. His NFL debut was a 300 + yard game. And he was a lab built NFL QB. Burrow probably had the worst OL in the NFL and still went for 300+ in half his games. And he was a lab built NFL QB Bryce Young doesn’t have an elite NFL skill set like everyone else listed. It stands out. He has no special ability. He has provided no hope.

Nah… PJ Walker has a better NFL skill set than Bryce Young and a higher ceiling. PJ just doesn’t have it between the ears.
-
And I forgot to add, Fitt should have been fired already. It won’t change anything this year but it’s the principal of it. No one is more deserving of getting fired. Worst roster in franchise history.
-
Hubbard is easily the best offensive player we have. And that’s not compliment of him.
-
Thomas Brown and called a grand total of 4 games. Reports are all but 1 were micromanaged by Frank. He hasn’t even called preseason games. He isn’t supposed to be good. Especially situationally. *and you can’t reinvent the wheel in the NFL in a week….bulk of what he has at his disposal today and in the bank is the poo Frank O this team has learned and knows.
-
Yeah, seems like it would take the NFL equivalent of a Bama roster vs the field. And the NFL is designed so teams can’t build those.
-
But I don’t think Bryce Young has a legit NFL skill set. Too small. To weak of an arm. It’s too limiting.
-
I mean, Wilks first game we debated if he was intentionally trying to lose and throw the game. I’d like to see the next couple weeks play out and time to work on an under C game. Default today was the old Frank O that these people now.
-
Yeah, Wilks’ first game was horrible O. It’s going to take a minute to actually shift this O. First game and they had more O and points than the team has averaged on the year. So there are some positives. I was disappointed in Thomas Brown but try to keep that in perspective. Frank never let him get ready for the season as a legit playcaller. Everything is a first for him. He has lots of learning to do on the job. And Brown doesn’t even know what these people can do when asked to be different. Lot of moments he errored in going to Bryce over Hubbard and the run game in big moments.
-
Yeah, I’m not trying to bash him. He is basically a green rookie that has to take lumps to. Thought he did a poor job leading tot age first FG. Hated it at the end. But the big moments are the hardest. He isn’t supposed to be good
-
The scripted stuff. And then they botched the playcalling at the goal. That fade to Mingo was a horrible option. More yards and points than Frank averaged on the year going in though
-
It basically was the start of a HC making adjustments. Stuff Frank should have started doing in the preseason. More balance, more rushing, more under C. I think we continue to see that going forward and building a play action game from under C In all honesty, if Thomas Brown had been better with his situational playcalling….I think we could have won. Thought he was bad in big moments throughout the game.

I think Tabor should demote Sanders and implement a 100% wildcat offense with Hubbard and Blackshear. Hekker will pass occassionally via fakes.
-
I mean, if you get 2 years at Bama….and you don’t win? It’s pretty much a QB issue. Because it doesn’t even take great talent to win at Bama.
-
Yeah, people talk about OSU QBs but Bama QBs are basically the same but worse.
-
some years there is no right decision that can be made. This is one of those years
-
The logic of that statement was always mind boggling. Great QBs both big picture and small picture are for the most part always paired with an elite weapon or two. Some times all time great weapons. The Bryce Young can do it alone never made any sense.
-
If we shut him down….he will have suited up for a mere 33% of his games through 3 years. for comparison, the biggest injury bust to date WAS Jeff Otah and he suited for 52% of his through his first 3 years would he even be worth trading? We likely couldn’t get real value out of him. Probably should just keep him and let him walk.
-
The upper levels of it. I mean, that’s largely what I am referring to. I’m not talking about every scout and the entire network. No reason keeping Morgan and all top brass under Scott. Gut it all. Which shouldn’t be an issue to replace the leadership/top
-
Everyone employed under Scott should be gone. That means you might lose some good people in the process. it’s similar to why Fitt should of gone with Rhule. When it’s THIS bad….you can waste time trying to sort out what % belongs to who. This is the worst roster in our history and these clowns thought they were doing something….and Dan is clearly part of that

Randy Mueller in Athletic on Tepper and Bryce
CRA replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I still think Fitt and his team have to part of the equation of who is filling Tepper’s head with bad advice. Tepper’s doesn’t strike me a loner type just bullshitting all this on his own
