  1. Name of the game in Carolina to win is to minimize Bryce Young. See our wins. All of them. They tell a story.
  2. Carolina being forced to actually let Bryce throw sometime doesn’t mean he isn’t horrible. again, PJ Walker had a winning record in Carolina and a better highlight tape. PJ sucks. Bryce Young is a bad NFL starting QB. The Carolina coaching staff basically is screaming it at the Bryce defenders. We play the game how we have to because of Bryce
  3. As Micah Parsons said when questioned on why they didn’t take it to Bryce….Bryce Young had like 2 actual drop backs the entire game for a measly 100 yards. Which isn’t how you win the in the NFL. and Rico got them on the brink of FG position with that big run and Bryce wasn’t allowed to touch the ball after that. I mean, Bryce is treated like a backup QB. Simple as that. Pretty tough to argue that he isn’t at this point.
  4. Not playing devils advocate. The staff clearly has recognized you have to take Bryce out of it and Rico is our best chance to win. That play illustrates it. and all that window dressing most likely was not a Bryce Young original. But the thought process of a staff that knew Rico had to get the ball. it’s the never ending search of trying to make Bryce look good.
  5. I hate to break it to you…..but in the year 2025….the Panthers pass attack isn’t much more threatening or productive than Bryce’s rookie season. yeah, give me Joe Burrow 8 days a week lol it is a team sport. And you are highlighting the inverse. Naming non-weak links. Bryce is the weak link in Carolina and this season is probably the best evidence of it to date
  6. I mean, most likely this 78th degree chess move…..was the coaches/playcall. Not some Bryce Young experiment. coaches knew they wanted Rico and not Bryce to have the ball in their hands. So they went to great efforts to disguise it
  7. Bryce has flat out and consistently been one of the worst if not the worst starting QB in the NFL over the last 3 years. Anyone worse hasn’t played all 3 seasons. We are having to play painfully archaic and safe football given he is our QB. It’s winning in spite of him being the QB almost every time we find a win that’s just reality. and Bryce is statistically, pretty much unchanged. And our wins are all on the back of Rico…..minus the Penix implosion. And Bryce did nothing that Atl game either
  8. That pass to XL was just trying to repeat the last TD to XL. Which really didn’t make sense even when it worked. Basically expecting XL to beat his man so badly that he can cross behind him??? Which is what happened when it worked. We got lucky when it worked IMO. Hate the design and ask of that playcall.
  9. Depends on the definition of it working. Goff works. The Schuabs and Hasselbecks worked and that’s without getting into the Montanas. Also, Bryce is no Alex Smith. He went 6 straight years in KC with a winning record as a starter. There is no Bryce comp. Everyone as unproductive as Bryce has disappeared
  10. I mean, if we played them 5 times.....they probably largely would beat us by double digits majority of the time. I think if we played the Packers again this week it would be about the same spread. I mean, as soon as we can't run the ball and have to be balanced or pass heavy in a game......it's Nightmare on Elm Street.
  11. I think from a bad juju stand point they shouldn't return this season. But outside of that, they should return when they want. Not sure why the players don't want them to return. If it's anything other than superstition this season...then fug them for that. That unknown podcast was right when they went about what they did.
  12. our gameplan to win and coaching is literally all designed around the fact Bryce Young isn't a good NFL QB. PJ Walker has a winning record as a starter in Carolina. That never made PJ Walker a good QB.
  13. wut? Riding Rico is literally the only way we can win football games. And you want to not do that in a winnable game? we have seen w/ Hubbard that it takes more than our gameplan to win a game.....we need the opponent to have painfully horrific offense in addition to that. You play to win the game. You ride Rico until he can't ride.
  14. Team A - 187 pass yards per game, yards/attempt 6.2. Team B -170 pass yards per game, yards/attempt 6.0 - bolded is the 2025 Carolina Panthers Team C - 161 pass yards per game, yards/attempt 5.5 Carolina has made HUGE strides this year defensively and with their rush attack. But the problem is the problem. It's actually insane exactly how productive Rico Dowdle has been in the NFL this season (even more so insane given teams just play the run). 3 starts and is the 3rd leading rusher in the NFL at the half way mark. Insanity. Everything in Carolina is trending up. But one aspect of the team.
  15. The formula for us to to win games is just so microscopic. We have overachieved. We are basically the Steve Wilks Panthers. The fact we don’t have a QB is going even out down the stretch. It’s hard to watch us and say it’s a good football team
  16. Hater implies improper bias. Which isn’t the case with those critical of Bryce. They should just be called the ones who are right about Bryce.
  17. We lose when Rico isn’t the offense and the QB isn’t largely a spectator. Simple as that. Dalton and Bryce are no different in reality
  18. Only because early that ball went through a defenders hands and into TMacs. That route got jumped. That really should have been a INT or at worst incomplete. Stat sheet will show it as one of his best throws though
  19. Trade him and he is still probably a top 10 cap hit for us next year then you got the issue of Rico looking good….and having lots of options elsewhere after this year. then your RB room is Etienne. I don’t even count Brooks at this point given the back to back ACLs
  20. Bruh, that’s clear cut bottom of the pack. How you going to spin that as middle of the back lol
  21. Hubbard comes w/ contract baggage. Teams would want the really good RB, with no baggage, that Canales isn't running.
  22. not sure there is such a thing as good return for a RB. It's just too easy to find runners for teams to give up a lot.
  23. Baker found his way to Carolina and had him playing DE in practice. Obviously a different staff. But the biggest issue in Carolina has been the brain trust trio of our owners, GM, coaches. and there is PLENTY of evidence that his current trio, is mindboggling bad at basics. I do not believe in Hooker but I won't judge him and use Canales' decision-making as a reason not to believe in him.
  24. Name a QB as bad as Bryce who had their 5th picked up? You certainly can name better ones who didn't have it picked up.
