benched after only 10 NFL starts Bryce got 18 lol. Just goes to show, it's not worth overthinking things. CJ Stroud checked all the boxes. The other 2 only checked some and then came the mental gymnastics. If you are going to draft a QB high, check the boxes. Odds are bad enough even with all the basic boxes checked.

heck, I'd rather Morgan of just cut him and called him a toxic bum on his way out. Screw him right back if he was being problematic at his redemption stop. Screw trading him for for that. Tepper is inserting himself and having the Monday meetings before we even officially suck. So it’s not a weekly meeting because coaches sucked.

I think age and his achillies has really taken him down a notch in terms of his moblity/movement. Which was always an understated part of his game to setup a lot of what he does in the pass game. Noticeable enough his opponents even are now commenting on it. I could still see them making a late push once Adams gets settled in.

if you are Jets fan, you at least can believe the Jets could show up any given Sunday and beat anyone in the NFL. The Jets presently don't have a talent issue. They have a coaching/player issue.

I largely agree. No real reason not to start especially given what Dalton turned into of late. I'm not going to watch it but I think that's the best move. I think it closes the door and we get a legit cleaned house in the QB room next year.

yeah, I think decent odds are we are still falling...rock bottom still coming. I think rock bottom will be this offseason. Where we secure the #1 pick.....Sanders starts doing Sanders things and makes a lot of noise we can't escape. About how a couple top 10 picks will not play in Carolina. I 100% believe Sanders will pull a Manning family move and influence where his 2 boys don't go (not Shilo lol)...only Sanders will be loud. Sanders has already called that move as coming. I think that window will really sort of signal the bottom is basically here.

well, if he was forced by the owner to do X.....he sort of lost the locker room by ownership design. Almost feels talked about. I do think Tepper painfully learns some lessons. And Canales basically came out after week 2 and said one of the reasons he had to bench Bryce is because of how the rest of the team would view it.

9 consecutive offense drives with no points. That’s horrific offense. That’s what he did after the opening scripted drive. Game was long over before that final drive when Denver was clearly in not playing actual football mode

I think clearly we are haunted by the bro club that formed in Seattle. So I guess we would need to look at Seattle during the Fitt/Morgan/Canales era to find who the good ole boy system will deem the great find.

only 32 jobs in the world and Tepper cuts big pay checks. it worked for him in soccer largely. Which probably isn't helping on the football side given a new coach every year is producing better results.
