  1. I would rather take a mid 1st this year and a first next year but before all that I would rather have a franchise LT.
  2. I don't really like any of them as people, some at least can provide a football product that is worth watching and spending money on. The NFL has an owner problem and they look to like it that way.
  3. I would not. Especially after I let my PSLs go this year.
  4. Lol Robby took the money here that no one else would give him in the NFL, that is just business. He can still be unhappy with crappy play, well paid or not and his or not. Meh, whatever. So far these people are still planning on leaning on CMC in the run game again and still haven't addressed the 19 million dollar elephant turd in the room. Anderson is just an after thought compared to those 2 issues for this team at this point. Stay, go whatever. He just isn't important in Pantherland at this point either way.
  5. Given what option A and B has looked like, I don't want this crew picking another QB over how underwhelming this class looks or another limited vet option. It just is what it is at this point. They are lining up to have to do it, just rolling with Sam is hard for them to justify unless Tepper gives them a pass year and fug that. If we had drafted Slater last year we wouldn't still need a LT and could take a flier on one of these guys without much pain but here we are...again. A LT, a less than last year's rookie QB or another D player to ignore the team building failures of the recent past. I'm all about collecting draft capital for next year but as much as I don't like this QB class there are just no guarantees next year will be better for us...other than the odds of 2 back to back 2013 classes sounds real low.
  6. You never really know about team's values or QBs in the draft but that is a lot of movement for this rookie class. I just don't see it from Picket.
  7. The interviews I listened to pre-draft prep were really strong for Lance, that dude has it all he just needed better coaching. He has a better arm and size. I liked Lance's film more than Willis. I would vote on Lance 10 out of 10 times vs Willis but that is just me. Doesn't mean a damn thing until either does something worth talking about in the NFL tho. I still think it is BS that Lance won't start this year. I still think all that needing to sit another year stuff is just to keep Jimmy G's trade value up.
  8. More upside, better talent and better size...both need to sit a year and then it's learn or burn time.
  9. Saints really devaluing next years picks for this year with a 1st year HC. They are built to win now but they need a QB. Willis won't be ready this year and I would love to play Picket twice a year. Maybe Corral. I would think they are getting ready to make a trade for one instead but boy do I hope they draft one.
  10. LOL I hope Rhule is still sold. Go get that LT and try again lol. A healthy CMC...it's all too funny. Some people never learn but at least we can get that LT and still get rid of Rhule next year after Sam's first vet year where he is exactly the waste of talent at QB he has been since college. It would be hilarious if Rhule chose to do what I wanted forced upon him.
  11. Now do the other 30 owners and just turn the NFL into publicly traded teams and not 31 wealthy people playing with their profit toys.
  12. Yeah we went from a college OC to a meh NFL level OC. The good ones declined our interviews. We were left with McAdoo. His strength is supposedly QBs, no one says his offenses were impressive. When Coughlin was in charge he produced his best but that is Coughlin and not Rhule. He wasn't the OC of their SB run and his 2 OC years where the Manning / Beckham show and they still finished 3rd in their division. Meh.
  13. Cool but he isn't a QB coach but an OC here. Add in the Rhule factors and I still don't see the reason for any hype.
  14. It's pretty meh. An improvement from last year sure but I wouldn't use the words quality, good or exciting to describe this staff.
  15. I would agree but I would suspect he would just be wasting his first year of that rookie deal and still need to sit a year with a good staff which would be 2/5ths of his rookie contract. So we may have a QB in 3 years? Just draft a better prospect, for us, next year would be a better play conceptually.
  16. My real issues with Willis: Our 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks started no more than 3 games last season with incredibly weak competition and Willis needs a year at least to not start. It is just a bad fit for this crew and their mess. That dude has a solid shot of becoming a quality QB if he goes to a stable team with a strong coaching staff. None of that is us.
  17. All to just lose anyways....These people are mostly crap
  18. So you have to be in a changing room / bathroom to do an interview right after a game? Totally normal. I get the SB celebration pics and even the coach breakdowns with game balls but would 15 more minuets really be a bad thing to stick a mic in a players face? People are so weird.
  19. Nice, one QB without a brain and the other without an arm. Unless they both go into surgery together they are playing for 2nd in the NFC South this year.
  20. I would have picked Sam but not an option. It's the QB this staff deserves. I am not sold on this class of QBs, especially when you match them to our staff and situation. I also don't want to spend on Vets again after the last 2 years. I think Meh is restrained at this point in the 'process'.
