  1. Trade him for a 6th while we eat all of his salary at best. He is a backup but no one is spending much on him. I just hope we don't just end up cutting him and eating it all anyways but it is possible and better then keeping him and pushing Corral further down the depth cart or having to watch another game with him under center.
  2. Sad but true. We need to see enough of Corral in 2022 before we pick in 2023. That is not desperation but responsible and positive planning for beyond 'saving my arse' mode that Tepper created by bringing back Rhule this year.
  3. Miracle / Continue to do what we are doing? Nothing has changed to me but a new number with the same outcome. Just fire Rhule and play Corral as much as possible before we draft in 2023.
  4. Once the high wears off then it's time to stare into the ugly truth.
  5. He had to know this was going to fall this way regardless of how. 4 bad years and he will get a shot as a backup. That $19 million is a hell of a crying pillow though.
  6. Because he is not Baker, Sam or PJ so there is still a chance he could be a good or better QB on a team that has been without a good QB for years.
  7. They did it to themselves. What did yall expect to happen after there was no trades to talk about.
  8. Hated Baker in Cleveland, as person and player. The hype here revolves around him being better than Sam which is a sadly low bar and pure desperation of Rhule's 3rd losing year which is unavoidable. Until Corral gets a shot I feel the same as I did last year, IDGAF and just want to see Rhule fired so we can start talking about more than crap level football.
  9. We are picking in the top 10 again. That has more to do with the long term QB plans than the noise from today. So much fluff on yet another reject. Last year was the basically a rookie Sam. This year it's Baker took the Browns to the playoffs. So did Anderson lol.
  10. Just play Corral after week 6 and stop making us watch rejects.
  11. 1. Whatever, Rhule getting fired is what 2022 is all about. Ask then.
  12. Another QB I don't want to see play in a Panther's uni. Whatever gets Rhule fired in the end I guess. I just hope Corral gets significant time over this turd by the end of the season.
  13. Josh always was a headcase, he just had 2 good years of football and one was with us on a SB run. I don't think loving football is absolutely necessary. Working hard and treating it as a profession in the NFL is IMO. Maybe that is not true with every position but I am fine with it from a CB if they put in the work regardless of love of the game. That just sounds like old-school coach speak this is outdated. Right up there with who needs water on hot days and play through serious injuries that are a lot more than just a lot of pain.
  14. I think the hate comes from what a large group wished it was and not what it became. If the gameplay and franchise settings were where I wished they were I would still be playing. Deffinatly hate on the game but not the player...at least for me.
  15. TMJ or Chinn at SS would be great to see. I know Chinn had a great rookie season but we shifted his position last year and it was not great. I think we all hope that Corral will be thr guy but I don't want to jinx it, just be a rookie and better than Sam. I don't want to use break and Horn with any hope, jusy hold my breath and hope for the best which is enough. Also a top 10 pick damn sure had better show up big time...looking at you Brown even though I know he is not put into a spot to do so, that is really on the coaches and past GM. I'm going to say the guy who does not regardless of hope is Thomas. I think he really is what he has shown over the years.
  16. It's overhype due to desperation of staring down another year of Sam. Baker is better than Sam but not good. If he was his team would not have done what they did and rolled with him on his 5th year option.
  17. Not really tin foil hat stuff. China is pushing hard for more influence through their silk road initiative. This crap is just cheap and easy for them to pump out. The destabilization effect is just a positive side effect.
  18. That poo is in everything now. It makes the meth, crack and heroin epidemics look manageable. I have no idea why a dealer would cut so many things with it but it looks like people are dropping dead from mundane prescription drugs that are knockoffs that look legit. Killing off your customers that quickly seems like a bad business model yet it is happening everywhere. It's insane even by black-market standards.
  19. Every day we get closer to this year I get less excited about the D Snow built. I love what Wilks can do with the DBs, i just don’t know what he has to offer more than that or that it is really going to help this year but the next staff given this staffs scheme weaknesses. For what we ask him to do we could have gone with much latter talent and really seen no difference. It's like with the DBs. No matter their potential but if they can't go ridiculously beyond what we should be asking of them will it really even matter? I don’t think so after last year.
  20. Maybe but he isn’t in this D with this scheme. It is hard to tell because of that. A players worth isn't just their potential but how they are used. I would be rrally interested to see him in another scheme but I think we see more of the same this year unfortunately.
  21. He isn't trash, he was just not worth a top 10 pick or even a first round pick. Would have been a solid 2nd or 3rd rounder to date.
  22. It looked like an Anime character vs Sam's ghost cat.
