  1. I gave up on him before the team picked him. Smart kid, going to make a good coach someday. He peaked in school and some just can't see it. Too bad, his brain in AR's body would have ben HOF but this ain't Madden.
  2. The ugliest thing is what do they give up on first, the dud QB or the people that picked him while pissing away so much value on a team desperate for more talent? Tepper is dumb enough to ride this failure into a 2nd year. Go ahead and fire Fritterer in a couple of games at this rate and have the new GM run the new coach search.
  3. What's worse making those moves personally or hiring people bad enough to do all of that fail on their own? It's both which is why it's been so bad and continues to still look headed in that direction. He absolutely has some fingers in the stupidity done but he also hires these people and I honesty don't know where he keeps failing harder.
  4. 33-10 Saints. Prime time is pain time for Panthers and nothing really looks to change tonight.
  5. The SC debacle was a huge red flag. I think Rhule was a big old learning experience but I am not impressed with anything since either. Better sure but he kept Fritterer and that is looking more and more like his last GM mistake where he kept someone too long instead of just flushing to begin again fresh. Suli is looking like the joke we always looked like. Reich is a good dude but meh up and down for me, just another Ron with his best days behind him. He needs to learn how to hire and manage people and let them cook. The fact it's been one game and the trend still stands is just beyond funny to me. It's just so consistent regardless of personnel changes.
  6. Tepper's standards on display again. Seriously, how is he so constantly bad at managing everyone and everything. Like any positive they do is overshadowed by failure. It's an impressively consistent trend. I am not expecting it to change much either. I don't think this team has a chance until he burns through his need to play directly with the team and takes a big step back to a way more hands off approach and it's probably going to continue to stink for anyone along for the ride not in it just for the money.
  7. Looks like negotiations are going well and everything is as planned? With that crack team of ownership and management? The NFL is about winning and getting paid, not just for the players either. What the hell did they think was going to happen when they were offered that trade and were turned down? In Burn's mind someone else already would have paid him that if they took the trade. It's all incompetence and as much as I think Burns is being overvalued by enough to pass, it's still not his fault it got this bad before he decided to go panhandle to the fans to get the deal finished. It's all very embarrassing. If they let it get to him publicly asking to be traded then that would be a new low and a loss of a lot of leverage with him not willing to stay. It's all very poorly done, whoever is allowed to be blamed for this clown show routine.
  8. It's the NFL so any week the other team could just face plant that week. It happens. I really don't see this as a team that not going to be picking top 5 except in the 1st round.
  9. The Panthers had bad grass too because the owner was cheap and cut corners along with a doofus employee if I remeber corectly. Again money is always the first reason. Hell the turf is bad sometimes for the same reasons. The stamdards are ridiculously low and i can't even remember what penalty they get when the score the field conditions. The Panthers were really bad in the cold snap game last year. Tepper wanted it because he could use the stadium more with his concerts. It's not an issue because the players won't demand anything and give up on other negotiating items.
  10. Owners do not care because it's all about the money. If Arizona can roll out a grass field in a dome in the desert then they could figure it out anywhere else but they won't because it would be very expansive and they can just replace the hurt players with rookies next year while they throw lame concerts for even more money on that garbage turf. It cold be done but the price would be very expensive at some locations due to geographical location and stadiums designs. The Romans flooded the colosseum 2 thousand years ago and had navel battles so lol to people saying they couldn't put grass in NFL stadiums if they wanted to make it happen. I wish the players would force the issue but even they are about their money first or they would make it an issue. That is the NFL at it's most stripped down.
  11. He looked like Teddy light to me but there are 16 more to go. All I do know is that tickets are not selling and I am very interested to see what the home crowd looks like this week. It's been really bad in Pantherland and this was not a game to improve the mood.
  12. Bryce will be known by the end of the year for good or bad because he isn't a project QB. If it's bad, just fire the staff/GM and start over. If a QB Guru HC can't pick a good QB then you also need a new coaching staff and no they shouldn't get another swing if that is how it plays out. Honestly I think the fans turn on them again if Bryce isn't it well before the end of the season. It's been ugly here for years and fair was never part of any of this.
  13. Yeah, he didn't have the physical or mental ability to be a practice squad QB. I'm not impressed with Bryce but at least he is smart. Clausen was a potato with tiny hands and blond hair.
  14. LOL If Bryce isn't ready now then more time really won't matter. His entire thing was being a pro ready and mature QB. His knock is he didn't have a lot of potential growth, like none. Unlike with a high growth rookie starting at a lower floor it won't take years to figure out if Bryce has a future or is a bust. Either he steps up or they should start looking for other people to bring in next year. He really looks physically limited and he wasn't Clausen level bad but he looked like a less talented Teddy that couldn't see the field as well.
  15. They mailed in the season when Tepper kept Fritterer. Everything after that has been set up for failure and boy did they go hard. At least there really won't be any pushback when people start getting fired because this year is set up to be very ugly...again.
  16. It's still a top 5 pick. Hey look at the bright side, you should be getting a new GM at least.
  17. Lol this team's talent is wasted in terrible management and it's still not all that talented at the end of the evaluation. Also not an NFL fan so no fugs given, it's just the very sad truth. This team is poorly run and it starts with Tepper's management skills of a chimp throwing crap at a wall. I'm here to watch and laugh at him make money off of the poo show until I get tired and can't find any more laughter...which isn't looking like anytime soon lol. Give the job to a random fan, it couldn't be much worse than we have seen the past five years with 2 GMs.
  18. Top 5. The 3-4 switch while going for a mega trade deal for a QB in the draft with a new staff trying to prop up the GM's past mistakes sealed it for me. If they can hit pick 6 or above I would actually be a little impressed with them clawing that far towards mediocrity.
  19. You still believe this team can win while I'm not a fan anymore, I'm just enjoying the show. This is a bottom of the NFL team any which way you look at it except as a blind fan.
  20. He is an embarrassment as a GM and people are still propping him up. He can't build a team, he can't draft with any cohesive vision and he looks to be busting on his 1st round picks. An unhealthy CB, a RT at LT for a run first offensive approach in the modern NFL and a tiny QB to go behind the cheeks oline he built...LOL and that's just the 1st picks. Any talent on the table really means very little if the team isn't well built and this is a 2019 level dumpster fire but we have to wait for the first coupe of real games to allow it to be confirmed so just a couple of more weeks before I get to see how long the fan base gives AS about the new staff and all the blah they brought to the table.
  21. Watching this team burn with zero fugs given is really the best football has brought to the table since 2016.
  22. The top 5 pick next draft will hurt a lot more...
  23. HAHAHA. Quoting his school doctor about anything NFL is irrelevant and showing how hard yall are trying to prop up this mess. Just lol. It feels like when we traded for Sam again. Just lol
  24. Tepper hasn't won anything since buying this team and trading up to #1 this year just proves he is nowhere close to turning it around. Going with Young and watching him bust in the NFL will just be the cherry on top of the pile of crap he has turned this franchise into. It was sad in the Rhule times but now it's just a bottom dweller team doing bottom dweller things. Looking though this place and seeing the desperation and disconnection from reality is just sad. The owner that runs a team with a 29-53 (35% winning) record team is exactly what his record says he is. He is owner in the mold of Haslam and Johnson. It's time to accept the Panthers are the same as the Browns and the Jets at this point. Or don't and wonder why people look at you like you are a Browns or Jets fan lol. Adding his wife, who has zero meaningful experience in anything apparently, to the process is just his chefs kiss to the hilarity of his incompetence while making money hand over fist.
