  1. That should have been this year. Tough to sell to anyone worth getting when this crew is going into year 3 on the hot seat. I still think keeping Evero will sink them all after last year's showing. If/when he is scapegoated they need to show improvement or it's likely to be so eone else's problem next year. I do agree in principle tho, it all should have happened after last year's problems.
  2. Nothing indicates DC has HC talent. He has zero positive input on the D. It's year 2 and he chose to lean on a guy in year three that had a year 2 thst would keep many coaches from being a coordinator again. For an offensive guy he did squat at QB and now will have to ride his sad choices outside of the #1. Even his OC skills are basic which Im not sure he can hand off to someone else either because with his skills he is just a guy with a headset on the sidelines at that point. He is like a head cheerleader more than anything without his playcalling duties.
  3. Yeah it's just more of the same BS. It's always everybody else first. I can think of 2 XL drops and 1 Chubba drop...at least what I would consider catchable.
  4. 10% of that 17.6% had to be XL...maybe more.
  5. I agree. Good staff walk when they know they can't win with the setup. Plenty of scrubs take the cash and then learn.
  6. Always comparing him at his worst to make his best look better which is just mid. Just go with play it out and deal with it in the offseason over that drivel. Being proven wrong is hard t poo do when mid is his best...and it takes checked out team or Atlanta out there practicing with a rookie at the end of the year.
  7. They hit at QB in the first swing. Now they need to do what the Texans didn't and keep going or else. That and having their target HC ghost them publicly was also an early ego check for the ownership group.
  8. Being better than Dalton, availability, isn't hard to improve so I left it that way intentionally. Pretty much but the who and how much is intriguing. In the end it's always Tepper first and then in my mind because it always goes back to that root of all issues.

    WR drops

Remember when Ted Gin would drop TD passes and we were all like shucks, laughed and said try it again? I couldn't care less about winning at this point, just make it watchable and semi-competent. It's such a low bar to have to clear.
  10. So far DC's coaching and HC ability is enough reasons for a firing.
  11. Im not sure they are sure of that they are doing here at this point. Dalton being brought back was a huge red flag just on availability given the situation. A HC in year 2 trying to tank or put draft position above winning would be wild. That sure as hell isn't earning a year 3. It's great for the next guy but not for them. If Young doesn't turn it around meaningfully then I don't see how he is here next year one way or the other. How do you bring in a rookie with that in the QB room? If they were going to go Vet they could have signed one on a 2 year deal this year. It reeks to me they didn't
  12. He shouldn't be here this season either but they l literally resigned him. I have no idea what next year will bring but if Young gets benched I would put $10 on him playing again regardless. I think it's a trade and for anything to just move it to the past like teams tend to do. If it gets really bad with no upside then they might have to cut him is my guess
  13. I literally laughed into the phone when the ticket rep was pushing that line to me to renew PSLs after Dalton’sfirst game and I said anyone thinking Dalton could finish the season was a sucker. That was the pitch but never the reality. Bryce was being coached up for the inevitable. If that was true they would never have resigned Dalton this year but here he is waiting to do it all over again.
  14. The knives came out when the guy they traded the farm for was imploding while the HC gave up carring. If it wasn't about Young then they would have gotten a better backup that could finish the year...just like this year. He was literally benched to switch it up and try again. No one with eyes could think that Dalton is playing close to a full season.
  15. If you include the teams the QB went too it absolutely is trash. I still stand by what I said. Top picks usually go to trash or dysfunctional teams. That's why there is a trend of guys getting another shot and proving they aren't trash these days. Now add in the trash coaching at thr school level effecting the quality in the NFL. None of this happens in a vacuum and player quality is declining due to that. This last drafts first round was filled with normal 2nd round talent. It's not just QBs
  16. Who was hell bent on forcing the new staff onto his Young mistake which also was the pivot point of the 23 staff implosion, even if it was poorly conceived. It was always both or one being an extension of the other.
  17. Nothing? There is a reason Morgan wanted a friend at HC because they work so closely together.
  18. Meh the Texans struck gold with Stroud and then showed their normal standards. I couldn't belive that GM did good but he is blowing it now. I would bet he will flourish elsewhere when he walks. Caleb was always going to take time with his mental maturity but at least he has the coaching now. I would take anyone but Richardson over Young in a heartbeat.
  19. It was Tepper, Morgan and the search committee. They hired Morgan's friend like Fritz hired his friend in Morgan. I don't get your angle at all. No body would take the job when Tepper tied both jobs to Young and ended up with who would which was first Morgan and then DC.
  20. Dude said 10 drops in that tweet. I don't pay for extra content so can't confirm. I was just making fun of the curved stats from drops from that expert.
  21. Nope he was hired because Morgan was hired as the GM who picked him, his friend. My statement stands sir. The reason Mogan was hired is because he helped draft Young and it's always revolved around that not being a mistake since it happened even though it always was one. Now how Evero is still here is a mystery to me. Tepper, Morgan or DC chose that after last year. No idea who yet.
  22. With his level of coaching that is in question at this point. He was literally brought in for Bryce by Morgan. He certainly hasn't earned it to date.
  23. It's so weak. They will play someone soon who comes in off of a lazy weak after watching our film and it will be all amazing over mid level stuff agaisnt a team having a crap day again too. It damn sure is what it is. Also are drops automatically on the WRs? Do they not get an adjustment for getting their hands on poorly thrown balls too?
  24. I don't really care at this point. DC didn't bring poo but Dalton and Hooker. He didn't drsft Young but absolutely signed up to be tied to him. He can spin it however he wants but those are facts. Maybe he will learn from this and stop making poor decisions...if he gets another shot after this mess. He could go back to being stuck as a QB coach if it keeps up the pace.
  25. He didn't account for the missed opportunity throws where guys were wide open but not thrown to when adding in those 10 catches. With Bryce it's always weighted but in a favorable light. That poo is so old. How about 'just stop trying g to throw to XL' and call it within the norm at that point.
