  1. I know but he still has some positives. There are not many people in this team that don't have a lot to prove and work on.
  2. This isn't a team that's going to have a magical turnaround and he was brought in to give Young more help which is a moot point now even if it's going to take time for the crowd to catch up. At this point get draft capital and play the young guys. I didn't like the idea of signing him long-term yet and I did want to see how he looked when the D wasn't having it's way with Young's brain. People rave about him but he is already in his 6th year and only had 1x1000 yard+ season. I get his upside because it's there but he is also in a contract year on a team that didn't make it 3 games before imploding. For the right price I don't know how they can say no to a good offer for him.
  3. .2 QBR throwing over 15 plus yards. That is so bad. Sub Clausen and people still act like he is going to turn it around. Darnold and Baker were never that bad.
  4. I don't think the D is good but how bad is it really? The first game was obviously bad but how can they recover when the O is crapping the bed constantly? The second game they showed some issues and some improvements. I agree on the Raiders approach. I can't tell much from the O side because it was so bottlenecked around crap QB play. There might be a few surprises for us all. The one big positive from Dalton is he will speak up and know what he is looking at.
  5. It's so hard to evaluate anything but ST in the first 2 games IMO. All I want to see is guys getting a decent chance to prove themselves.
  6. I'm just glad DM waited on Diontae's contract. I'm still not convinced he is worth what he is asking for. Everyone has been getting open because the Ds have known where it's not going. They have also been covered when they knew where it was going. Really not sure what to expect with competent QB play.
  7. He could have just kept Rhule and ended up with the #1 pick if that was his master plan. Plus Baker didn't play much in the rotation under Wilks.
  8. The peers sure are but that is normal and given the history expected. The media experts are turning but the ones that went hard for him are still trying to twist the narrative to make him look good. They obviously do not watch the games this year which isn't surprising.
  9. Me neither but there is a lot of stuff I need to see with how bad the breakdown at QB was and just the dysfunction it caused.
  10. Baker played under Tepper's missmanagement and now plays them twice a year. Why would he not be smiling while stirring that pot? Good for him. Also does Tampa look like they miss DC? I didn't catch their games at all but they look to be putting up better numbers without him.
  11. Dalton needs to be healthy and productive enough to justify bringing him back. I have no idea where he really is now but we should all know Sunday. It's going to have to be a cheaper vet and another rookie. They have a lot of cap tied up in an oline and need to inject more into the deffensive side. They don't have the option of an expensive FA QB.
  12. He is running with J Russell. He is going to break the former 1st round guys passing though here to find greener pastures elsewhere streak. He peeked in school. Some guys do. It's not the same game.
  13. I want to see what they all look like with an offense that can get a 1st down in the 1st quarter. Seems like it would make a big difference in all the evaluations.
  14. It's like rediscovering fun. I'm so tired I can't take wins seriously but just play a game where these guys show up hungry and have fun showing what they can do.
  15. Anything is possible. I'm just happy Bryce is finally sat and we all can get a peak at what everyone else can do. It's prove it time.
  16. Most Guys want to have that title of best in their class and the bigger check then the rest. Chicago still got their guy and what rookie QB has ever done well there?
  17. They got so much wrong. In the end he is a nice guy who stays out of trouble. That's all they got right.
  18. It's evaluating Morgan and it was not a good move. And fixed it for you.
  19. They could have saved some cap for other positions and still upgraded from poo to good. Everyone knew we needed OGs but going out and buying the most expensive options did not help Young and the D sure needs some of that money. Now they can't go out and spend on a free agent next year at QB that isn't a prove it deal and will probably have to roll with another rookie QB with the cap they put into the oline.
  20. You had me until last year broke him. I saw him break this year when he threw his first pass in the regular season. You could see it on his face. Not playing him last year just delays the inevitable even if it was the move they should have made before all the pro-ready BS.
  21. Duh. An old arm is better than no arm...
  22. Hard to sit a guy when you talked for weeks about him being so pro-ready.
  23. The opposite of a unicorn is a basilisk I think. Poisonous and turns things to stone. Baby yaga also fits.
  24. The city of Charlotte and that giant wasted bag of cash they are giving/gave him is my guess.
