Just ask for a trade and speed this all up. This team is going no where and do you really want to get paid to wallow in the mud with the rest of this mess for years when you could be contending and still getting paid? It's OK. Be a professional and put your career over this dead end. I do wonder what his stats would look like as an edge rusher on a loaded D when he isn't close to the best player.

I'm not at all convinced that Bryce would look much better in SF. Lance didn't and he had a ton more potential than Bryce ever will. Bryce's issues are he isn't an NFL talent. Too little physically and too little physical talent. It all shows on game day.

I wish. I need to see what way they will go now. Not the way I want them to go but an actual move that signifies a direction change. Worst case, they try and fix the situation. Best case, Fritterer is fired and a consultant is brought in. The stuff in the middle doesn't look too good considering the recent past. No one in house is looking competent.

Great interim coach and not a great long term answer. Running off Ben Johnson and stiff arming Steichen rank way higher on my list of better options. Frank was never a good option. Tepper couldn't see it and some fans couldn't either. Whatever he agreed to that Ben balked at is what I want to know. Whatever it was, it was real bad.

Calling it - the Bryce Young trade is the worst in team history
Waldo replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers
This sure seems like it's worse than the Sean Gilbert trade. That one scared JR permanently so maybe this one teaches Tepper something...if it's possible for him to finally learn aanything positive about running an NFL team. It's going down in history as the worst trade for the team. It might also be the worst year ever also so I guess Tepper finally got his big move and big outcome he has been looking for since 2020. -
Or it could just be the all star coaching we got going on. IDK, until I see them make a move I don't know what the hell those people are really thinking. The possibilities are fun but the reality hasn't kept up with that.

Anytime. His ticket is punched. If they let him make another trade then they deserve what they will get.
-
It's all pointless now. And no way does playing Dalton keep Bryce off the field all year. Playing Bryce into the locker room falling apart wouldn't help him either.
-
The fantasy they will build a 49ers type situation around him given the situation is not one I can share, he may find that on his next landing spot as happens in these circumstances. He is going to have to beat someone out of that job next year and I haven't seen anything that leads me to belive he can. Those people haven't figured out anything good and if new people come in then nothing is guaranteed as far as futures.

Or they could just call it what it is and just play Dalton.

Dalton might win a game.

Quick moves to at least put us on the right track
Waldo replied to bobcat91's topic in Carolina Panthers
I still think they will more likely double down vs doing anything rational like firing Fritterer. If Bryce really is Tepper's guy then expect a big dumb trade or something next. I just can't expect any kind of decent direction when there hasn't been any for way too long and I just don't believe that Tepper isn't a huge part of the problem. I just can't expect him to start acting like a reasonable owner when I think he is in on the big stink. -
Predict when Scott Fitterer and Frank Wrong are fired ITT
Waldo replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would say Scott anytime and Frank when he doesn't give up playcalling again. Then I think about whatever Tepper did throughout the process and wonder if he is again tied to people who did too much of what he wanted so now he has to let them fail for way to long again. -
What would you give up to draft Marvin Harrison Jr.
Waldo replied to CBird's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bryce Young lol -
Again...

Run the ball out of non-shotgun lol. It's all so stupid but at least it's funny once you accept the reality
-
It's what happens when you run a shotgun offense and have a rookie QB who doesn't take hits well or shots down field. No one respects anything deep and as long as you can keep the pressure on it's an obvious and basic game plan that keeps winning against the Panthers. The deep drop backs are the stuff of dreams for speed rushers and with no respect deep the running game is easily contained. It's not rocket science

He isn't worth 13 mil in dead money either but he is the kind of poo the people running the team love so it's bound to happen. He is worth a 6th if you have to eat that dead money next year IMO. That's like the last pick in the 5th round
