We traded our first pick in franchise history (1st overall in 1995) to the Bengals.

Stop messing around with half-ass veterans and reclamation projects and draft one worthy of a top-10 selection. Preferably after upgrading the OL to at least a somewhat average unit.

If Fitterer manages to get a 1st round pick + "another piece" for CMC after his injury history he should be given a medal.

I get the sense Penning may be viewed more favorably by NFL teams than by the media and fans.

I'd be all for it, but only if Matt Rhule was not involved in choosing which players we draft with those picks.

I said this on Twitter, but I'd give up a 6th rounder just to get rid of his contract.

This is one I did based on a scenario where we trade Robbie Anderson to the Pats for their 3rd rounder. The trade was just one I forced to get their 3rd rounder in the simulation.

I have no problem with this as long as we're looking for proper value in any trades. No way I accept less than a 1st (or combo of picks of similar value) for D.J. Moore. With CMC, I'd take a 3rd and run given his injury history.

Luvu is now a starter then? I like that news, at least.

I'm fine with letting both Reddick and Gilmore walk. It's time to put some money/picks into the OL.

Allow me to present... THE RHULE MOCK! aka the draft nobody in their right mind wants, but everyone knows deep down we'll end up with anyway.

How the hell did 4 teams give up more sacks than us last year?

I've given up on this season. My concern at this point is not totally fuging up our cap and draft picks for the future.

I want to be there when the legislature bans coffee...

Would love that draft. I hope we can trade down for more picks, but I do worry there won't be any team willing to move up at our spot without a clear cut QB option there.
