  1. Dan Quinn is about the only retread I'd be interested in other than Brian Flores, but I'd prefer an offensive minded coach to any DC. My favorite is Shane Steichen, but I'd settle for Ken Dorsey or Eric Bieniemy. I just like Steichen's history developing young QBs and making the most out of the talent he has. Those are two things this franchise has never really had.
  2. OSU QBs scare me. I'd much rather take a shot at Young or Levis. I feel like Levis is the high risk/reward pick, but Young is the safer option. The only knock on Young is his size. If he were 3" taller and 15 lbs heavier he'd be the #1 pick hands down. Which begs the question: just how important are those 3" and 15 lbs?
  3. I don't know that any coach can win with these QB options.
  4. Get that late 1st rounder and run.
  5. As a coach I'd have no problem with Payton, especially if we're in position to draft his hand-picked QB. That said HELL NO to giving a division rival any compensation for a head coach.
  6. I honestly thought we'd be down by at least another TD by halftime.
  7. Same story as Joe Brady; clearly Rhule is the one constant. This offense has regressed every year he's been here regardless of who has played QB.
  8. Chinn seems to find his way onto the bottom 5 list every week. Either he's vastly overrated by fans or this staff is using him terribly. Or both. Our WRs are garbage outside of D.J. Moore. TEs may be worse.
  9. Shane Steichen or bust for me. Pair him with an experienced DC like Vic Fangio and use our (probably really high) 1st rounder on a QB like Will Levis and we'll be in business.
  10. Just imagine if we had a couple players we could dump the ball off to who are capable of making plays in space...
  11. For me it's: 1. Will Levis 2. Bryce Young 3. C.J. Stroud I don't trust Ohio State QBs in the NFL. I'd be happy with Young, but his size does concern me. Levis is the best balance of traits/experience/potential in this class, IMO. Get him a good offensive coach who can put together a staff that will develop him and his ceiling is absurdly high.
  12. Zero reason to fire Rhule before the season is over. Best case is to let him dig his own grave and get us as high a pick as possible next draft.
  13. People think CMC's contract makes him impossible to trade, but that can always be manipulated.
  14. Trade him to Buffalo for a 1st rounder. He'd put them over the top for sure. I guarantee you they'd be willing to part with the 32nd pick for him.
  15. Dude chose the game over his family. That's rough.
  16. Tepper won't have to 'try' to tank; just leave things as they are until the end of the season. We're already on that trajectory and they can't punish Tepper for just leaving things as they are.
  17. Rhule won't be fired this early in the season. Tepper will use the opportunity to tank and get as high a draft pick as possible and fire Rhule either after the season or very late in the year.
  18. Will Levis has impressed me more as a pro prospect than any other QB this year.
