  1. i like Nixon, seems like Barmore will be gone by the second round. i think the others would and several will be there in the third. McNeil may not make it past 50, so a little rich.
  2. To pair with Big D? Im intrigued by Alim McNeil, honestly despite that hes not thought of as a penetrator type. He is known as a guy who plays three downs and generates a ton of pressure. Imagine him and Brown pushing that pocket in while, Burns and Co. are coming around the edge.
  3. Pitts is fun but my pick is sewell in that case. Id take freirmuth in the 2nd and be happy with the first two. Id say roll the dice, but the only other legit left tackle is eichenberg and he will be gone by the time we pick in the 2nd.
  4. Yeah. Looks like there are a ton of the starter by year two or contributor by yeah two types.
  5. Yep. Top qb picks (1st round) seem to pan out about 1/4 of the time, thats why packaging so many picks to move up surprises me with some of these teams. Giving up one additional pick i get, but mortgaging the future for it seems like too small a target to hit. Its poor odds.
  6. I go back and forth on this. Just not sure what rhule and brady think of him. If they think he is an eventual playoff caliber qb, theyd be nuts to let that small of a move pass them by. Now if denver drives the price up, then they may pass. But id see them giving up a 3rd plus number 8 to move up. Doubt they'll let themselves get ransomed though.
  7. Great point. Just seems like a big gamble either way for them. Which is good, i hope they poo the bed no matter how they play it.
  8. Thats a good point i hadn't considered.
  9. Understand your position but the strategic behavior is interesting to me. I like the guess work, but i get it with all the threads it can get tiresome to others. We at least agree on the falcons. I grew up in alabama, but i despise all things atlanta.
  10. I think thats the moral thing to do at this time.
  11. Do you risk a trade with Denver and move back simultaneously rat fuging us and still possibly getting Pitts? Im assuming the dolphins and lions go WR and that bengals go with sewell. That would be the absolute nightmare scenario for me. Although i guess it would mean we could still pick Slater, so not a terrible deal.
  12. Yep. If falcons dont take a qb we will likely throw an offer to the Bengals. They question is if they want Sewell. I think if thats their guy they stay put, despite Slater being available. The nfl is weird, some of these teams will draft for traits above all else. Plus sewell is only just now 20. If hes not, i can see it happening. Then again im not sure what detroit and the eagles want to do. Assuming we stay at 8?
  13. Agree pff has a far different view on a number of guys, tay gowan for instance. Edit: looks like they've blocked access to that link now.
  14. I think the word is Mayfield is better suited to guard but that he doesnt have experience there so its mostly an athletic projection. Sounds like he struggles with fast edge guys, but i havent seen him play so its just second hand.
  15. I said this a few weeks ago and was taking the piss a bit. Looks like itll happen though.
  16. Mond is no better than Grier (likely worse). I watched the guy for four years. At best a discount Jamies Winston. He'll have big games and then disappear for 3.
  17. Guys this link says he has 500 snaps at LT, so maybe he could slot there? Also says he could play guard so probably more of a RT guy. But Moton had the same profile and i thought he did well at left. Thoughts? https://www.acmepackingcompany.com/nfl-draft-2021/2021/3/1/22307140/packers-nfl-draft-2021-oklahoma-state-ot-teven-jenkins
  18. I was able to stumble upon this by searching for individual prospects. I tried to find it but i dont think its officially live on the site yet. It wont let me look at individual profiles this way but it gives each players ranking and the ordering. Some may find it interesting. Cheers. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/
  19. Eichenberg is my choice. Not an elite athlete but ready to play. I think this staff would go with Hudson over him due to athletic profile. If tevin jenkins is still there, run to the podium to select. I think he goes first round. D'ante Smith is a good one that will he available late in the second if we trade back. Leatherwood is not a LT imo. Will end up at G. Gives up lots of pressure to the edge.
  20. i actually did a mock draft where every pick was o-line. still thought we had depth issues.
  21. I like you mentioned russell. If we get a guy with a terrible attitude (despite being an all world talent), we'll get the same result. At qb im looking for temperament as much as anything else. How do these guys handle pressure? Are they disciplined? Are they confident without being arrogant? You really need a damn psychologist in the scouting dept.
