Countless complaints today that Darnold led receivers into defenders. So... does he throw behind them or lead them into defenders?

CMC fixes some of the issues. We needed check downs more readily available. When we had check downs, they were dropped. Several plays where all receivers were still mid-route and our offensive line had let 100% of pass rushers through.

I was thinking the analytics were telling a story that my eyes weren't seeing. He's definitely talented and above average, but it's beginning to look like those analytical insights don't tell the full picture.

People watching this game and believe Sam Darnold is what's holding this team back the most. This roster and coaching has a multitude of issues creating pile of trash we see on gameday.

I don't get the question. I'd hope every starting, professional player on our offense knows the play call that is coming in, time on the clock, and the down and distance to gain. If you mean, who's the guy we can rely on the most to make a play in those situations, his name is Christian and he hasn't been seeing much of the field lately. -
When you get instant pressure from 4-man fronts, that's not incorrectly diagnosing the blitz. Maybe Brady wants Sam to start anticipating which part of the line is going to lose quicker.

1) Recovering the bad snap in the end zone instead of the safety. -
Interior is supposed to allow for the QB to step up into the pocket so that the tackles can push the edge rushers out wide. Right now, we have no pocket to step up into.
