He is among many RBs that Id be happy with, i have him waaay over foreman....penny was another that just went... fyi i feel panther may go run heavy....
-
Last night did some FA viewing, I want ILB devin bush. called the walker trade, wish the panthers would hav done that.....be much less of a need to land a #1 WR.

Panthers not tendering Myles Hartsfield will become UFA
Basbear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
hope they bring him back, im a big fan. fyi you still need back roster bodies. hartsfield can play rb, kr, nb, cb, lb, ss. hes not scared to hit. -
I would have loved to see him in panthers colors too. I thought he would get 17-18per as well, this year hasnt had the dumb deals of years passed. I think the failcons signing bates was, but it could be debated the other way...

Have Josh suit up in full gear when hes on the field= problem solved!!

How would you build the roster and draft?
Basbear replied to BeenPounding's topic in Carolina Panthers
Im starting to lean towards an all-offense draft.....serious.... -
I think around 8-10 WRs fly off starting form 10-38. Hence why I feel panthers may be forced to move up, just like wanting a QB.....it maybe the only way. WR market is insane and memeber this past draft??.....poor green bay. great TEs should be around 39th too...

i think viking signed marcus davenport(former iant) to a one year 13mill deal.
-
Much better than I thought, that was shocking too. But I can not say he didnt back it up........now hes just not get naked in motel while on ghb.
-
Thats why it has my attention, even most have JSN around 20-40...... if all it takes is the early 114 (4th) and 39 for 33rd and 7th rounder........ why wouldnt you do that?? I could not turn that down...
-
Kirk did earn part of that, how about jones???
-
Man I cannot do those crazy trades, I mean its harder to know what is in fact "crazy"..... But its all in fun. i know even now if I get some insane unlikely trade offer, i just reject cause it ruins the fun for me. PFN is a joke with them same for mock database. Then my old school one fanspeak doesnt offer any...

Thanks to all the posting Maybe teams are not willing to repeat what the jags did. I could be eating those words tomorrow.........

I get the fan hate, just if the move is form 39th to 33 or whatever....the cost could be a 4th and get a 7th back as well. Its not that pricey to me. Its special to pull that off, along with giving your rookie someone who already caught passes in big games. Here are the picks the Panthers currently own in the 2023 NFL Draft: Round 1, pick 1 (1st overall) Round 2, pick 8 (39th overall) Round 3, pick 30 (93rd overall) Round 4, pick 12 (114th overall) Round 4, pick 30 (132nd overall) Round 5, pick 10 (145th overall)

I think the Chinn angle is undertalked about. I mean day one and they sign a safety?!?!? Chinn and his huge neck, better buckle up and get to making a difference.....this is his contract year too...

@Soul Rebel heres one of your guys......honestly I had it a little higher.
-
Who should the panthers target with the 39th........and/or what groups?? I know TE, WR, and edge are looking peeettttty good there.
-
I like the WRs in the 2, 3 and even til 5th rounds have a couple sleepers. No cream and no #1s......the mid #2s level, slot have a few too. But is that what you what to give a rookie QB?? I want to land JSN if the cost is low to move up.... Thats the dream pair and dont care if it cost the late 3rd..... IMO the class has the best value form mid2- late 5
-
I dont know how I feel about that either........prefer the troy polamalu model.....but chinn isnt in the same light after two so-so years.... honestly a trade may be the way and never thought that after his rookie year. I think got hope, but dont know about the hope if hes a ILB in this 3-4....
-
Dang the ILB market is getting bare...... I dont like that.....

Yea, I can not speak much on shy. I do like Bell as a player, high on him draft and hes been earning the starting spot for years. The numbers, tad high for my taste...speaking for a safety.....I think that was one of the parts of panthers they alway got right- dont pay safety(unless its minter)......bell is just like mint, leader and good person overall. Boze was the best signing of ANYONE today. 10/10 here. Plus I looked down at the failcons and what they gave to a safety, LOLLLlllllololollol. Glad they still dont have any DE/edge help, plus their WRs and RBs are panther-like too... I have not figured out tampon bay signing dean while 55 million over the cap....

Not allowing the shaq money to be seen, thats smart....dont let the agent know how much is truly available... I dont see how they could sign some top 4 TE, unless its some 7 year deal...... (i bet the agents know..)
