Am I mistaken, wasnt there a report that Murray didnt care about watching tape and was quoted as " I just wing it on the field"? I'd hate to commit this type of coin to that....

Just how Rhule describes what he wants of out QB spot. Hes wants a rar rar college QB and Baker is still of a OU mindset. Regardless of whats being said to the public, Most of Bakers teammates love the way he handles himself as their QB. Like Rhule Baker is full of emotions, ie like the short cook Tepper deal. He does put in the work by all reports and is not scared to deal with divia WRs. Once Baker leads the team to victory in which he was the main reason, that will do it. I see them clicking like soulmates. Im willing to bet, Rhule was the main driving force in trading for Baker. Hes heard the right stuff form former coaches and players. He wants a player to take the job and run/lead the team, Baker fits that.

My honest dream/hope, is Corral is the real deal. Im a bigger Baker fan than Sammy boy, for sure. IMO 2 ways on how this plays out- crash and burns down mid-season. Everyone but Scot Finessererereer and Dan Morgan is fired. *Or* Baker and Rhule get super connected ie mind, body, soul. Play well enough for one of the last playoff spots and Baker resigns for a team friendly deal.... I think Baker is Rhules embodiment of what he drools over at QB, whether that leads to wins and getting the show back on tracks.....???

My god will I celebrate once Skip gets no attention. Hes a 60 year old pornstar woman that keeps showing more skin and getting more onlyfans subs. The Game is wrong....

Ex-contractor here thats help build various city building such as court houses etc. Heres what I learned- if a project is delayed and you dont know why/havnt heard, its the city/state fault. I can not even begin to explain the sheer incompetence of going before the board members asking for permits and NO ONE has the slightest clue what it takes to do so. I will not get started on why they changes the plans, beyond shocked we get anything done.... They never built one god dam thing in their whole lives. Plus becoming biggest huddle is the environmental leadership in their ears........you have NO idea what type of silliness they are capable of. Those people should live by their words; live in homes that dont contain wood, steel, or oil. I have never found one, most live in multi-million dollar homes with more wood than whole neighborhoods. Its such a fuging joke...

Panthers are not cap smart like the iants, not even close. Theyve had maybe two years out of 10+ where they had to make sweeping cuts etc in order to be legit. Panthers have stayied in terrible spot, were they have little talent and high cap numbers...... iants at least have great talent. Look at thier rosters over the years, at each group there is a legit pro bowler. Just pick a few groups out- OL, LB, DL, RB, S, etc...... fyi heres the 2023 panthers-(be sure to read those names and FAs) https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/carolina-panthers/cap/2023/ Also getting low low low low lower results. There are/were street FAs that could have done 2020 teddy/2021 Darnold and costed minimum type deals. Should have kept Cam for starters. PJ "MFING" Walker could have gotten similar numbers I bet for a ultra low discount to boot.... wasted other players time/effort.

It was like Rhule clogged the toilet and keeps flushing years afterwards......Lets hope Mccadoo is a real plumber.... That was a wasted 5.5 million given to Cam, just awful at the QB management form ALL angles......Still only Corral is on the roster for 2023 and theres 37 million in the red........resigning Burns and cutting Elf help a little but theres still 25+ red.... hella bad

Can the Hornets ever win the Eastern Conference
Basbear replied to Shocker's topic in Charlotte Hornets
Ball and Jones, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!! -
My big brain in 2018 on how to use the #1 pick - Sam Darnold........ I need my ass kicked for that... I was a big John Dorsey until he used the 1st on Baker...... now the crazy panthers have made me even nuttierrererer.

Need a panther fix, going to listen now. Brady was figured out and did not understand the ....how do I say this....Many times in a game you have to show/setup plays in order to cash in big plays in the future......he didnt "get" that. Need to bump those Brady threads BAD......97% of the huddle was swinging on his nuts.......I was not and had HUGE questions and just said "thats who Rhule wanted....a young OC that never called college or NFL plays"?!??!?!?

Whats you take on adding Payne?
-
Last two months been meaning to start a Payne thread, I hope Finesserererere has gave old herniay a call.... He fills the want and need while being very good. I know the funds are tight next year already (plus no QB too).....feels like pipedream given the cap. Hes going to demand around 15-20 and that feels impossible to fit here. 2023 draft needs to be 90% DL with using early picks too. Even with resigning Burns and whatever Dbrown does, its a shell of the glory days.

If not for the Woods signing, this would have my attention. Tho I have been trying to start Krob for the last two years, would be a big play true FS.......but Rhule/staff do not like his risk factor/coaching ears.... Safety is one of the spots the panthers are deep, plus Bates wants big $$$$$$, it's against my religion to pay them..

Jake started his career started about the same time as Bakers current age. Love Jake and all that, but he doesnt come close to Baker form a skills point. If Baker remains healthy, he will lap Jake 3x in nearly every category= Plain fact.
-
Memes asides, Corral coming out like a bat out of hell would be the best out-come for the panthers and fans. Similar to wilson in Seattle, then you have a legit QB under control for 3 years at NFL pennies. .09% of chance that happens, but I would never forget it if it did...

Yea hes had 2 good yrs and 2 poor yr, tho I want to protest one of those due to injury in week2. I view him playing hurt as +++ rather than minus, the teams is at fault for not having a better backup. Look at this and see if it opens some thoughts- https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/car/career-passing.htm https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MayfBa00.htm Baker is just 27 fyi. Hes already 3rd in TDs and could pass Jake the great this season.

Contract. yea it is too high, but brother thats cheap now. Dak, kermit, Watson are all 45ish and Arod is 50.........30 isnt even on page one it feels.

I do remember in MIDDLE school there was a player wearing a Clemson helmet on the other team......All of us were talking about it and the school didnt have one big enough for him and had to borrow one form a college program. Guess who had to block the mountain........turns out after a few play he wasnt that hard of a task.

My first thought was Ryan- https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/tennessee-titans/ryan-tannehill-9818/ I honestly think if Rhules is staying, he will click with Baker hardcore. Then its tag time and use the above Ryan as blueprint. I hope the panthers are successful enough for this to happen.

He hopefully working out and staying in shape. Most times when a player leaves the guaranteed money is the issue. FYI to all- https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/defensive-line/available/ Plenty of "names" out there at DL. Derek Wolfe is combo DE/DT that may fill both needs. Star, JPP, suh, Jackson(member him form SB50..), Richardson, etc etc. Still early 30s most of them and got a little juice leftd. NTs are there too along with other DEs. Get to camp and no ones steps up on the DL, the market has a few answers.
