  1. I mean DJ is cheaper and adams has like 38 million next yr with being 32 years old. Its a combo of many things. Jets are 2-4 and I doubt this makes much a difference, so that pick should be in 70s. WHile a KC 3rd should be in the 90s. The other deal to this is say DJ signs a big 25 million per deal on the open market(very possible). Well very likely unless the team sign someone to a similar deal, you get a 2026 3rd round comp (90s). Thats part of the issue too. My take is I doubt KC values Djohnson with his sus hands. I dont think hes been in a system that is close to Reids, so language and getting in sync with QB are huge problems. Dan has to know where players stand, he needs all the picks/lotto tickets possible.
  2. You are right, my goal was mainly to showcase MJ for his stellar play. It is too early to talk of these things, dam shame I was given the 1-5 my mind has already shifted to 2025 off-season. That was my thinking as well, the contract that makes the most sense is Michael Jackson. DJohnson will get some 20+ million bag and recent history has shown you should not offer a high 2nd contract to a Rb (inches sanders among many others). Not to say I dont want either, just magic 8-balling mid-season and thought " Hey this MJ fellow came in super late and has played great given theres 0% pass rush...... sure would be nice to keep him a few more years". Ive seen enough too.
  3. 100% you should be making trades. Panthers have no future playoff, get a few mid round lotto tickets and pray you can draft well for the first time there...... An unknown draft pick is still better than FA that has no future as a panther.
  4. Its wrong, look at the void yrs. about 13 million minus or dead cap for players that are FAs. If you add about 15 million for early draft picks and 5-10 million for in season signings.... You got nothing in cap space. Dont believe......
  5. What about Michael Jackson?? I feel Michael Jackson has played great since he came in 10 days before week one. Hes right there with JC horn and if he does give up a TD, he is in good position. Its hard to judge whos fault it is about the busted plays and big gainers. I think hes about 30 good/great plays to 1 awful ratio, about the same as Horn. Add Michael to the resign wish list! Can imagine you if panthers had some sort of pass rush with both Jackson and Horn, I promise INTs would be happening.
  6. broski, its on fox. *im in the triangle
  7. Bills/Billy gets a A. they been divisional champs many years since. They drafted allen whom covers up all other issues. Wash; pre-2024 D. New 2024 Adam peters, A thus far just for drafting daniels......picking the right QB is 90% of the grade.
  8. followed by 34 run iants had issues against the run
  9. Id say his biggest issue is abandoning the run too fast........*but thats diffcult when you are always down by points. Hubbard would help defense rest and allow evero to figure out the soultions. Just run the ball and run the ball and run the ball. (this was before the cobrett and motown injuries, still run it more!)
  10. We have talking about for a couple weeks now, the scouting department has proven to be the worst unit in the NFL. Thats the main problem, panthers lack young talent
  11. Take it with a grain, but reports before the season were the bucs didnt miss canales or his BFF at all. For me, no other team even had him on a list for HC. Panthers lost Callahan and panicked hired canales. All that said, hes done well with plays and planning given the panthers lack in talent. He was forced or whatever, but benched BY, that was something. Its been doom and gloom for 6 years, his positive/happy energy is something.
  12. Change happens and fast in the NFL/life.
  13. Green bay fans can not complain EVER with the love of their last three QBs.
  14. 2 of the INTs- one hit the WR in the shoulder pads the other was tipped and caught by a DL over his shoulder running backwards. That said hes been awful dangerous with too many throws.
