Ive been meaning to do thread on unknown panthers and my first one was going to be Darryl Johnson. Right, he was barely was on the team, but what a difference one year could do for him. First off his main positive was ST and now tabors involved that could help him gain the need push to becoming a game-day player. Hes got the length and maybe size for a edge in whatever D snow is doing. If he leveled up, there maybe no need for a DE/edge/_____ . Panthers gave up a 6th for him, seemed Dan Morgan thought it was enough and he got a couple years to view him. Deal is the DL have talent, just young. Forgot to add, this is Johnsons first TC with the team.

Brother thats tru and all, but the difference is Sam does look improved on the field. Foot work, decisions, mechanics, etc.... on the field in practice setting he has leveled up. With it matter ie baker or gameday??

Bring him in for a physical. I know the pats wavied a DT that was young cheap and former #1 HS player....but colts claimed him. If you look at FA at sportac, theres plenty of names at the DL. I wouldnt rule out a trade either... What would the raiders take for colin ferrell?? can not be more than a late rounder at best, ie like a colin+7th for panthers 6th..

Brother I was just in Kentucky and the "roads" are awful.

mother fuger....... must be taking some of bradys calves blood, i swear he was hurt like week 16 or later.....giving some me hope that they struggle out the gate...now Jones comes back to a place were hes very similar with the players and schemes..

fyi goodwin is out for a good part of the year via his late season ACL. Bucs will be much better at handling Jones ankle/foot issues than the hardheaded titans were.

Im right with you. Deal is they are a little too young and DL always get injuried in TC. Depth just isnt there and all it takes is one injury, then Roy is the best option to start.... Future-wise I expect the 2023 draft to be 90% DL...

Do not count him out. Personally pissed cause I was gaining hope that a split could happen. Titans have pulled off the impossible with running the show like bills' patriots, its a different deal with them now. If hes healthy at the start, goodwin is coming back form a late season ACL.....screw this news.. FYI Everyone complain about trading a 2nd plus for Sam Darnold, the titans did the same for jones.......got nothing but IRers and cut him soon as the off-season started..
