  1. His mullet comments were pretty funny. It’s really hard not to like this guy. I’ll be thrilled with him or Stroud at 1.
  2. I’ll give it a watch. Curious to see what they say about what could be our franchise QB.
  3. It’s tough because the Young fanboys are cut from the same cloth as the Darnold ones, but @rippadonnis spamming for Stroud which is also a red flag…
  4. It’s already been stated that this class is “by far the best they seen from the QB class” regarding the S2 test so I’d say the top guys did pretty well.
  5. https://www.bleachernation.com/nfl/2023/02/25/one-test-hints-this-qb-class-is-exceptional-packers-coaches-skipping-the-combine-and-other-nfl-bullets/ What’s more interesting is that Ally revealed a couple of crumbs of information about this year’s draft class. The NFL owns this information (when administered via the pre-draft process), so the scores are private. However, Ally said, “this year is by far and away the best we’ve ever had, score-wise, at the quarterback position.”
  6. He was spot on about some of the coaching hires before they were announced. That’s all I know.
  7. I feel like whichever one goes to the Texans will be at a disadvantage. Defensive HC plus more holes than we do. We had to trade up to get close to where they are picking, plus our staff is all in on a QB.
  8. I really hope the Teppers aren’t swaying the decision. If Reich and company prefer Young then I’m more than good with it.
  9. I’ve just been going by what the scouts/analysts have been saying. The ONLY red flag for Young is his size in relation to play calling and durability. I haven’t seen many treat Stroud’s size as a negative. I mean when our own HC who always speaks highly of every player admits it’s a concern then call me crazy, but I agree with him. Stroud also has several red flags which is why either one can be argued at 1.
  10. This is the best case IMO. Young and Stroud both have great potential. If we can get one plus extra picks it’s a win.
  11. Honestly I hope the Texans fall in love with one and trade up for him. We just draft the other plus the extra pick/picks.
  12. LSU wasn’t too great either. They had some athletic NFL bound DL players that contained him.
  13. I think the concern is how far he needs to drop back to see over the OL. I believe most of his snaps will come from shotgun to help with this. Handoffs of course don’t matter except it may tip the defense it’s a running play. At the end of the day we have an intelligent staff that will design an offense to a player’s strengths. Baker for example is a short QB and Rhule/McAdoo wanted to play him in the pocket under center. He goes to McVay and looks much better with play action and roll outs to help him see the field.
  14. They just think I'm a passionate player," said Corral, whose helmet was ripped off during the fight. "Especially in that type of game right there and that type of environment. Between those white lines, I'm not going to back down from anything."
