  1. He should. If he puts together a good year he could be the top pick. On a side note the UCLA QB is having a solid year.
  2. Peppers has 30.5 sacks, 167 tackles, 5 interceptions, 5 forced fumbles, 13 passes deflected, 3 TDs, and 42 QB pressures in 3 years of college play. They are not the same player... not even close.
  3. Maybe we can trick whoever we trade for him and send Elf instead??? Just give him a CMC jersey and hope they don't notice.
  4. Anderson from Alabama is the current number 1 pass rusher. It looks like Murphy is ranked 6 in overall on that site you are looking at. It needs to be a Peppers, or Chase Young to be a definite number 1 overall pass rusher IMO.
  5. Sorry I might have quoted the wrong person. It was in reference to us locking down the number 1 pick and how trading CMC might be worth that. If we finish high enough to get one of the big 3 QBs I don't think if there is a huge drop off from 1-3.
  6. Also is there a huge gap between 1 and 3 right now?
  7. The top pass rusher just got manhandled by Tennessee's LT last weekend. I'm not sure any of them warrant the top pick in the draft.
  8. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/jermaine-burton-wr-alabama-nfl-draft-scouting-report-2023/ They state he could sneak into late 1st to early 2nd.
  9. That’s true, but sitting with the top pick and new coach usually means QB. Not saying it’s 100%, but it’s close. Now if we drop a few spots and miss on the Stroud/Young/Levis picks anything is possible.
  10. You can hold how the old regime valued players vs the new one. It just doesn’t work that way. The Cards had a first round grade on Rosen and took Murray the next year at 1 with their new coach.
  11. Hooker is only one year older than Levis for what it's worth.
  12. I knew Tom Brady was going to be a steal. Couldn't believe those teams passed on him through 6 rounds!
  13. I mean if his first option is open what do you want him to do?? Ignore him and keep going through progressions. He has shown he can go through them when needed and hits his WRs in stride. Open or not it’s typically right on the money. Can’t hate in the man for having talent around him… He can make all the throws with pinpoint accuracy and has the release, size, and athletic ability you want in a QB. Having a talented team isn’t a negative. Young just had a top LT and WR in his last draft class and I’m not holding that against his last year accomplishments. Burton WR, Gibbs RB, plus a large amount of defensive players will see early round picks. Alabama’s talent will almost always outmatch their opponents just like OSU’s. Just take a look at the mock drafts and QB rankings right now and see which QB is ranked higher. There is still a lot of football left but right now it’s Stroud 1, Young 2.
  14. It’s like you haven’t been watching since the preseason. (Not that I blame you)
  15. That made me lol a little. Perfect Gif to go with it.
  16. He is cheap and still very young/raw at a premium position. I would try to keep on if we can as a QB3.
  17. Shaw and Robbie are players who were probably getting released next year to save money. Might as well see if we can get a return for them this year...
  18. I’m thinking it’s a Foles, Minshew, or Dalton backup with a possibility of Corral as 3rd or practice squad.
