He is a perfect fit for NE and the McDaniels’ offense. At the same time they had one TD (on offense against a terrible defense) and a turnover. If he was in an offense where they asked him to carry the team more I wouldn’t think it would work out. He was made for a nice line, running game, and quick, short passes/reads supported by a solid defense.

They need to trade Ryan to a team like Broncos or WFT and just start over with a rookie QB and Pitts. Any vet with decent trade value should be flipped for picks also. Go into full rebuild…

First of all glad your brother is doing better. This has been a crazy season with Darnold flashing potential early and then rapidly crashing, following by Cam finding his way home. IMO the biggest mistake in the Darnold trade was not having a plan B and picking up his 5th year. A future 2nd, and couple of late round picks doesn’t set the franchise back that much and makes sense if you think you have a possible franchise QB in return. At the end of the day we all want this team to be competitive and we will look brilliant with some takes and completely miss on others. That’s just fandom and luckily none of us are running a NFL team so we can sit back and cheer or curse at these professionals with little to no repercussions. Let’s hope Cam has enough gas left in the tank and KEEP POUNDING!

What if we are picking in the late teens/early 20s and he is there without a trade up?

It’s hard to tell if his TOs are up because he his trying to give his team a chance when they are outmatched or is it just poor decisions. How were his turnovers the previous years?

I don’t think Daley is capable of holding down LT. Our best bet is Erving getting healthy or BC stepping in. The most frustrating thing is Darnold taking up $18 million next year. That money could have been used on Reddick or Gilmore…

He just needs to stay out of Superman’s way. On a side note he is a solid player, Cam is just a strong runner.

It always seemed like the longer Sam had in the pocket, the worse his decision was. I have no data to back it up, but it sure seemed that way watching him play.

The timing it just way off because he hasn’t had the reps/practice in with his players. If he let that pass go a second earlier it was of been right on.

Plus Elf can’t stay healthy. We still need a center and shouldn’t rely on him alone this offseason.
