  1. Agreed. No more trades for QBs other teams don't want. It's a premium position and if a franchise doesn't want that player there is a good reason for it. Just draft our QB like most other franchises do. Keep trying in the draft until we get a guy.
  2. I would put his mobility right below Mahomes' level. He usually is looking to throw and when he commits to run it looks pretty awkward sometimes.
  3. Having Harrison Jr helps Stroud a lot and I am a Stroud fan.
  4. Minshew would also already know the system if we land the Eagles OC. That has to be a plus right?
  5. Imagine us drafting your favorite QB in this draft. Now imagine that same rookie QB with a fantastic mustache. Can you honestly say he is not better with a mustache??? I didn't think so...
  6. Rings and nut punching OL!! What more could us fans want?
  7. What do you mean? He has been a starter and a backup without any issues. Seems like a laid back, team first guy. As far as "mentoring" we should have a staff to help do that and develop the QB. He is Hurts backup now and Hurts seems to be developing just fine.
  8. I'm not pro Young, but he makes these pressure throws on the regular. His game is solid, his size is the only concern.
  9. Minshew. Especially if the we get the OC from the Eagles as our HC.
  10. I'm not too concerned about ACLs as they are common (he just had 2), the sternum injury seems behind him, but the one that concerns me in the AC joint shoulder injury. I don't know enough about medical to know if that can cause issues down the road. Anything with the shoulder for a QB should definitely be looked at thoroughly...
  11. If we stay in the top 5, I hope we land Stroud or Young (2nd option). Outside of top 10 and I like Penix or Richardson (2nd option). Second round I like Ward (if he declares).
  12. Penix looks legit to me. If we fall out of the top 10, I’ll be happy with Penix or Richardson.
  13. I’m not sure we will be available in the 2nd. I’ve seen him mocked at 15 to the Colts.
  14. Yeah Alabama isn't as elite as they usually are. OSU has an insanely good WR in Harrison JR, but I think the number 2 guy has been hurt for a minute. I understand if a QB can put up great numbers with lesser talent that's definitely a plus, but I don't see any QBs really doing that this yeah? Maybe Penix? Kentucky is going to finish with a similar record they have had under Stoops. Looking at some of the top young QBs in the NFL, Burrow has a loaded roster in college, Mahomes didn't really elevate Texas Tech as they finished 5-7 his last year. Herbert didn't elevate Oregon, in fact Oregon kind of held back Herbert. Tua is looking good, but was also on a loaded team in college. I guess that's why it is such a hard position to evaluate and no one really has it perfected....
  15. Stroud is still a great passer. He isn’t the “super athlete” you mold into a passer like Richardson is. He is very accurate and can make all the throws. I don’t consider him some project that has to be reworked or developed that much. I just think Young has played with more adversity and does well with it. Stroud hasn’t encountered that nearly as much.
  16. I still probably prefer Stroud over Young because of the size. Young is further along as a passer, but that can be taught, size can’t.
  17. The pick that went throw his receiver’s hands? Glad you know what you are talking about…
  18. I was actually down on Wilson because of his one year wonder plus lack of competition. I still wouldn’t write him off just yet though. He has had some injuries and missed a lot of games.
  19. man @CPantherKingreally wants Brown to be bad that he is writing a damn novel to explain how it possibly could have maybe been Brown’s fault on one play. Brown is one of the few bright spots for us this year.
