  1. This! He was never a Yes man and he was often the only dissenting voice in the room. Hopefully he can now turn things around
  2. To be fair, it's the Bills defense that let them down. They forced one punt all game. Pathetic
  3. Just shows what 2015 Cam Newton did with limited wide receivers is one of the most impressive performance in history. Josh Allen is like Cam in that a lot depends on him, but he has Stefon Diggs who couldn't make a big catch when it mattered. That said, I think the Bills do need a reset. History shows if you haven't made progress towards the SB in 5 years, it's time to either change GM, Head Coach, QB or both. For all the credit that Brandon Beane got early on, I feel like he's failed to evolve the roster around Josh Allen, they've regressed both defensively and offensively. Essentially, once the Panthers pipeline dried up, he seemed to be out of ideas on how to recruit free agents and drafting has been subpar. I think McDermott is still a good coach and should not pay for the lack of roster options to make his team more competitive in the Chiefs invitational.
  4. As I shared in a separate thread about Morgan, he deserves a shot and he is not a spineless yes man like Fitterer. I would feel good about it
  5. Fans appreciated and still love Cam. It’s the coaches and front office who didn’t by not building around him starting with offensive line and better weapons. The fact he carried his team to SB with Ted Ginn as his #1 WR will always be the most underrated QB performance in history. I
  6. Matt Rhule also killed his interview - could talk in circles like a true Wolf of Wall Street
  7. Graziano thinks it will be Callahan to Panthers https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/gm-report/nfl-insider-predicts-brian-callahan-named-head-coach-carolina-panthers
  8. Happy for CJ. Nicole just thought Bryce was too cute
  9. After months of speculation, things are about to ramp up on Jim Harbaugh's potential return to the NFL. Sources say it's believed the Chargers will speak next week with Harbaugh, who has indicated to associates there's a real possibility he could leave the University of Michigan to become Los Angeles' head coach. The Las Vegas Raiders also continue to weigh a potential pursuit of Harbaugh, who led his alma mater to its first national championship in the College Football Playoff era on Monday night. However, sources say there remains support among many in the extended Raiders family for interim coach Antonio Pierce -- including in the locker room, with All-Pro edge rusher Maxx Crosby will explore a trade request if Pierce isn't retained, according to sources. Meanwhile, sources say negotiations are ongoing with Michigan as the school makes an effort to sign Harbaugh to a contract extension, particularly in light of other recent movement within college football. https://www.nfl.com/news/chargers-raiders-have-interest-in-jim-harbaugh-maxx-crosby-in-full-support-of-antonio-pierce
  10. The only trade that was close to being as bad as Panthers was 49ers trade for Lance, but Lynch and Shannahan kept their jobs by finding Mr. Irrelevant. Also, they still built an amazingly strong roster on both sides of the ball so it can be done.
  11. I did freak out after the first preseason game when I saw how terrible our offensive line looked and was laughed at here lol. I hoped it was just an overreaction and that coaches would make the difference.
  12. I think part of the problem is too many voices and cooks in the kitchen. The new GM needs to be able to handle personnel, draft, cap and say no to Tepper.
  13. It was a perfect storm of suck which none of us anticipated
  14. I would give Dan a chance, he's got enough experience at this point and my sources say he's the only one in the room with balls to disagree with Tepper.
  15. Is Young part of the problem because he played terribly as a rookie and did not live up to the hype. Yes. Is it hard to cast total judgment on him as a bust given that the entire offense is ass. Yes. Again, it doesn't help that Stroud broke some rookie records and looks like an all pro. It hurts me to say that I was totally right during the draft process that he should have been our first choice.
  16. I'm not buying this anymore. Playoff threshold isn't that high if you have a solid roster around the QB. Look at the Lions, Bucs, etc.
  17. I think the new GM needs to focus on building a solid roster and give Bryce one more year to develop. If he stinks again, the worst that can happen is we have a top 5 pick in the draft next year and can try again with drafting another QB, or look to sign a free agent veteran to compete with Bryce.
  18. CJ Stroud is apparently a generational talent that would have been actually worth the trade. Welp
  19. Off schedule plays, sure and he's shown he can do it even when scrambling. But it's another thing to be constantly trying to throw while being on your toes because you have pressure in your face. That's not a recipe for sustained success.
  20. I think problem with him generating velocity is poor foot work. He's essentially throwing on his toes, instead of planting his back foot. But I think he's doing it to overcome his heigh problem so he can see/throw over the line. Either way, it's not good but I think his arm is strong if he can set his feet which is why he seems to throw with more velocity through open passing lanes.
  21. I hope it's us keeping it quiet. Last time we cast a wide net and announced all interviews it didn't work out well.
  22. I think you let Bryce play next year and if he sucks at least you have a top pick in 2025 to start over
