I’m personally going in with optimism with any situation. We dodged the biggest bullet in my eyes, Watson, so even if we absolutely suck with Darnold again, the picking should be ripe for a qb. If the team finds one of these guys fit, let’s roll with em and be excited.

I kinda don’t understand what you guys want. “Not first round Qbs”. Ok, we’ll roll with Darnold? Complaining and moaning. Trade for Baker or Jimmy (my least favorite option) - complaining and moaning. We’re in a position to be picky about our options. Damn near 29/32 teams have better qb on their roster than we do. Trust their eyes and what they see, more than the blind “not first round qbs” junk.

Even at the expense of any other shallow talent we have on the team? Let what happens , happen. You can’t fix everything all of the time. We’re in prime position to take a qb , regardless of opinion of these qbs. If that doesn’t work, let the cards fall as they may and revisit next offseason. Start some damn threads of positivity. I really really hope this whole experience humbled Tepper into slowing down and doing it the right way. No reason to pay top dollar for someone like Baker or Jimmy now. If we really want a stop gap, just sign Mariota for cheap or something and let the cards fall how they will. Having capital in the next draft will do us wonder. Not a faulted QB that isn’t gonna elevate the team. (on this Willis train btw, I see this is a hot topic now lmao).

We barely got BC or brown reps, those two alone (plus Corbett) could mean a world of difference.

Why even let it be that expensive? We’ve pretty much all the leverage here. Teams that want/need QBs got theirs and it’s essentially a limited market now. Use that to our advantage and stop looking so damn desperate lol.
