Pickett skipped Hand Measurement part of Senior bowl!!
WaterBoy replied to WOW!!'s topic in Carolina Panthers
1. Jim Druckenmiller (11.25 in) Jim Druckenmiller has the largest hands measured of any NFL quarterback. The average handspan of a 6’5 person is around 9.3 inches—but Druckenmiller’s span measures 11.25 inches. Carson Palmer and Drew Bledsoe stand at the same height as Druckenmiller, but their handspans are only 9.50 inches and 9.63 inches, respectively. -

Muma probably will not be there in the fourth round. Maybe not make it out of the second round but I’ve liked what I’ve seen and he fills a need.

Rapaport: Panthers/ Tepper out of Watson deal
WaterBoy replied to FugginPoo's topic in Carolina Panthers
You liked seeing PJ go 3/14 against the Giants while they were in prevent defense? -
I thought you were going to say this guy:
-
Waived - A non-vested player (less than four years of service) who is terminated goes through waivers. When he is released another team can claim him within a certain period of time. A vested veteran only goes through the waiver system from the trading deadline in midseason through the end of the season. During the offseason and all the way up to the trading deadline, a vested veteran gets released. Released - A vested veteran is free when he is terminated and can sign with any club. Keep in mind, if the termination takes place between the end of the trading deadline and the end of the calendar year, the player goes through waivers. A vested veteran released this time of year is free to sign with any team.
-
No waivers. This is his 5th year. Players with 4+ years are cut not waived.
-
Sounds like his injury guarantee is part of the reason why they are cutting him and couldn't find a trade partner.
