    Of this list, Melvin, Chandler, Smith and Bonnafon. Robinson could make it over Chandler but he could be gone also. Rhule stated a few weeks back that he didn’t have a great camp and he’s been injured. He played well against the Colts though.

    Thompson and Thomas are likely goners. Maybe Thomas has some trade value but I just don’t see how he makes the 53.

    Ricci showed me something this preseason. I’d let Thompson go in a heartbeat if it meant bringing Armagh back.

    That’s what really stood out to me. He looks huge. We haven’t had a corner that big since Chris Gamble. He’s going to a QB’s nightmare once he gets some seasoning on him.

    I agree to an extent but with a new kicker we may decide to keep the experienced player.

    Can’t argue that we crapped the bed more often than not but Panthers were in the playoffs 2013-2015. Lost to SF in ‘13, the Seahawks in ‘14 and the Broncos in ‘15 SB50.

    Gentlemen certainly had his flaws but you can’t deny his successes here. After all, the Panthers reached the playoffs in back-to-back seasons and the SB during his tenure. You’re last sentence is spot-on. Here’s hoping what we’ve seen so far from Fitterer-Rhule regime is a sign of great things to come.

    If that’s their only options, then I’d agree. They could’ve changed the name to Washington Warriors, modified their logo and kept the same color scheme and that would’ve been better than this IMO.

    Funchess seems to be doing well in GB. But you’re right…Butler and Benjamin are def busts

    I’m sure he’s right. He’s got the size and athleticism to he a good backup but he’s somewhat raw. Will be interesting to see how he does over the next preseason games.

    If I had to guess, Roy and Nixon would make it and Hoskins goes to the PS. Rhule is really high on the former. Roy has history from Baylor and Nixon was projected to go higher in the draft. He’d almost certainly get scooped up from the PS. It will definitely be a tough call.

    How we passed up Risner for Little is beyond me. Risner could play all positions on the OL. Oh Hurney!
