  1. And that is exactly what you will get. If you have a "franchise" QB and his sole job is to not f*ck up the game, that's not the guy you want long term. That's exactly what Bryce has done the past two weeks...is not lose the games. You can only be successful going that route.
  2. Yes, in 2026. Either Bryce or FA next year.
  3. At bit more than I feel we should have paid him. As has been stated, the second contract for RBs is their payday. So I get why it's not cheap. All I'm going to say is this role as a complimentary back could have been gotten much cheaper if Chubba hit the market and let another team give him his big payday.
  4. *To the tune of Queens 'Another One Bites the Dust'* Dum, dum, dum, Another 2nd wideout busts... Dum, dum, dum, Another 2nd wideout busts... And another one's gone and another one's gone, Another 2nd wideout busts... Hey, he's a failure too, Another 2nd wideout busts!
  5. Agree to disagree. He's improved, but he's not a top back. Our OL is much improved and he's benefited from it.
  6. Money talks. Luvu would have stayed at the right price. Why trade for a guy who you knew was on a 1-year deal if re-signing him wasn't in the cards. We could have cut Thomas, his cap hit wasn't that big. I'm going to give Dan time, but again, year one wasn't stellar.
  7. This is sad. SOS says we are 4th from the bottom, but point differential says otherwise.
  8. It shows, of all the two win teams, despite the SOS, we still are the worst. In essence, we got the sh^t kicked out out of us every game except the two we won.
  9. Eh, he's still a RB2. If he wants to re-sign on the cheap, sure, we can keep Hubbard around. We had better not break the bank for a backup RB.
  10. Morgan kept Ian Thomas, didn't draft an edge rusher, let Luvu walk, rolled the dice with a depleted secondary, moved an injury prone guard to starting center that *shock* got re-injured, failed to get a true NT in 3-4 scheme, traded for a WR that he promptly shipped off mid-season. I could keep going. Point being, Morgan has exactly hit the ball out of the park.
  11. Hey, we don't have to wait until 275 games like this are played before we best the highly improbable again. Or do we???
  12. Can't afford to let him sink, we have to get something out of him in a trade. Hopefully Dalton's thumb is good to go next week just in case.
  13. Keep starting him until he starts to suck. Then bench him immediately before he can tank his trade value. The past two weeks he probably has increased his trade value by two rounds.
  14. That's the reason in probability it's always 1:some number. See even sh*tty teams have a chance.
  15. Yup, he ain't the future, so hopefully some team buys into this "resurgence" nonsense and we can fleece them in a trade.
  16. Saints were the 32nd team in defense, we were 31st. We managed 23 points versus the worst defense in the League in our house. Hang the banner and hand out those rings!!!!!
  17. I mean, it's like a long dry steak for a dude and you finally nail a 4 thinking she was like a 10.
  18. Eh, I'm not sold on Morgan as a legit GM, yet. I want to see at least one more offseason. Right now, he's batting .500 to me. Not great, not horrible.
  19. Dude's future is as a backup. These are backup QB stats. We played a team as banged up, as depleted and as sorry as us today. Home field was the deciding factor. If this game was in New Orleans, they probably would have won.
  20. I don't want #1, so good. We beat an awful team.
  21. Not that it mattered, but we got away with a pretty blatant hold.
  22. Not a Bryce fan, but that one is not on him.
