  1. Likely a stinger. I had one once and scared the crap out of me. I literally has zero movement in any limbs for like 30 seconds. Then tingling sensations began in my arms and legs, that's when I gradually got feeling back. All-in-all it lasted like two minutes before I was able to hop up, but it seemed like an eternity at the time.
  2. Outside of Philly (who currently is #3 in pass defense) the rest of our remaining opponents are bottom 1/3 of the League in that regard. Let's see what Bryce can do versus bad pass Ds.
  3. Ok, we will see this week versus Tampa. Their pass defense is absolute garbage, near bottom of the League. Until Bryce can win a game without Eddie Pinero doing the majority of heavy lifting on the point total, then I will contend Bryce is still a subpar QB that's managed to be better than horrible as of late. Congrats to him for doing better than continuous three and outs while also not gifting the other team with a pick or two the past few weeks. Sorry if my optimism is a little guarded considering he's improved over the what was some of the worst QB play I've ever witnessed out of a 'franchise' QB.
  4. No trades, heavy on defense.
  5. Even then, Jalen needed some development in Philly. He wasn't a 'turnkey' QB for them. He grew into the QB he is today.
  6. Yup, their defensive game plan was to stop the run and make Bryce Young beat them. Honestly, would you blame them for that strategy? Hubbard was bottled up most of the game until a couple chunk plays later in the second half. I doubt he had 20 yards rushing at halftime.
  7. Still 3-10 on passes over 15 yards. At least he's not scared to merely attempt them anymore. Where I see improvement is the 10-15 yard range. He was 6-6. Bryce of old was scatter shot on anything beyond 10 yards and the further out, the worse the accuracy.
  8. Suddenly the Cowgirls look like our best chance for a win remaining. I think the Bucs are playing better than the Falcons of late. Our lone game versus the dirty birds is in the ATL where we always struggle. The Cardinals are marginally better than I thought they would be. We are not beating the Eagles, they are starting to roll. I'm saying two at most, next week at home versus the Bucs and the Cowgirls.
  9. This KC team isn't the juggernaut it once was. How many one score games have they won this season? How many of those one score wins would probably have been loses if Mahomes wasn't the QB? Their secondary is vulnerable and it was obvious today. Grandpa Thielen was able to get open at will all game long. Bryce played well, but thinking this is the exact same KC defense Young was able to move the ball against as last year isn't going to compute. Last year's KC defense was #2 overall. They have regressed. I've said it before, Bryce can move the ball before the red zone, but once there, he struggles. He is not a threat with his legs and the passing windows get much tighter. He's not turning the ball over, so that is a great place to start and build upon. I still question much better he can get. Beyond a game manager? I highly doubt it.
  10. Here is where I'm at. Young had his best day as a pro. He kept us in the game and didn't lose it for us. GREAT! However, that stat line is a mediocre game for the average NFL QB and this is his best game to date. I'm happy for him to keep playing better, especially if it keeps out of the QB conversation on day 1 in April. I simply think his ceiling is career backup or low end starter.
  11. The Giants are tanking, period. The Raiders just aren't any good. If we were to be looking at a QB without moving up, it would be QB3 at best. If Alabama misses out on the playoffs, Milroe will go back...he might anyway. We would have to take the best out of Ewers, Beck, Allar and Dart. The problem? NONE of them are top 10 material. I would argue only Ewers is even worthy of a round 1 grade. Again, this ain't the year to draft a high QB. If we want to take a stab at a Howard, Leonard, McCord or Rouke after the 3rd round, sure, you always need a young QB to develop.
  12. We still had to settle for 4 FGs. That's the main problem with Bryce is when the field gets compacted in the red zone, he struggles. Yes, he can move the ball between the 20s for the most part, but inside the opponents 20, we have to rely on Eddie P way too often.
  13. Eh, while Bryce probably had his best day as a pro, there's still some things I doubt he could replicate every week...like throwing the ball up for grabs that lead to two PIs which kept drives alive. He had two really good throws today, one to Moore for a first down and the other Leggette dropped. Again, he's taking better care of the ball and that unto itself is a drastic improvement.
  14. All things considered, if you would have told me KC would only put up 30 points on us, I would have scoffed.
  15. Yup, he protected the football and got a few passes down the field. I still view him as a game manager at best.
  16. In the red zone there are no clear out routes to stretch the defense for the predictable dump off pass, therefore, Bryce struggles.
  17. You darn toot'n! Dukes is the only REAL mayo, period. The others are 'salad spreads' masquerading as mayonnaise. Yuck!
  18. I can dig it all. I grew up on eastern style and Lexington. Western NC came later. I tried authentic Texas BBQ and it was really good too. I have tried Memphis and KC style, but not the product from the actual areas and while good, I imagine the real stuff is better. I moved to SC and have grown to even enjoy mustard based pulled pork as well. No, it is just mustard squeezed on top of pork just like eastern style is not just a bottle of vinegar poured over top of the meat.
  19. QB6 and wouldn't had to have moved back. Sigh.......
  20. Some teams have bad years, some organizations have a bad existences. The later example are the ones I think Prime was referring to, the Browns and Jets of the League. Seven years down a spiraling toilet flush, we are trying our best to joint the misery. Put this way, in 2026 if we are picking #1...again, does the Manning family block Arch from coming to Carolina? If anyone says yes, then you know Prime has to feel the same way about his guys coming here.
  21. Listening to sports talk on the way to work this morning and they played a clip from another radio show Prime was on saying YES, he will absolutely block his son and basically his 'adopted' son from getting drafted by clown show organizations. So for anyone wanting to tank for Shedeur or Travis Hunter, get that thought completely out of your head. The last time I checked, the Panthers fall into that category. Prime did say he would keep it low key and out of the media, but you know good and well any team he tries to block, that team is running straight to the first reporter they can find to spill the goods on Prime.
  22. Awesome concert last night....as usual. Dudes never disappoint.
  23. I listen to Fox Sports radio on the way to work in the morning. Lavar Arrington Jr. committed to Penn State recently to follow in his dad's footsteps. Senior was a proud papa announcing that on air. Junior is supposedly a stud LB in his own right. Is Moose's son still at A&M or did he graduate?
  24. My favorite band and I are the same age. They are going on their 50th anniversary tour next year. They play in Charlotte tomorrow, coincidentally (I'll be there). Yes, many of us on here are getting old.
