  1. So....you are saying football is a team sport??????
  2. I was always on the fence as to if Jamie Lee Curtis was pretty or just lusty. I still can't decide.
  3. Both of Tampa's SBs are fluky to a degree. The 2002 team, Jon Gruden knew everything the Raiders were doing, I think he still even remembered their calls. This one, they rented the G.O.A.T. for a ring. One thing is for sure, both of those Tampa squads had solid defenses, that much I can't take away.
  4. Tampa drafted 3 of the 5 guys highly on their SB winning OL, (2) in the second round and Wierfs in the 1st. That's how you build an OL. Oddly enough, the two FAs were from small schools, one FCS and the other Division III.
  5. Here's a mock I did last night around the end of the game. I wasn't intentionally going OL heavy, it just worked out that way. Humphrey and Meinerz were the best guys on the board at positions of need when it was my turn to pick. I'm taking a LT in the 2nd round regardless. That would solidify our OL for several years! Oh, and re-signing Moton this offseason too.
  6. QB driven League and defense is an afterthought some others say. KC's defense was akin to a series speed bumps in a shopping complex as they merely slowed Brady down. Tampa's defense was like a damn that only periodically let some water through.
  7. ILB is a throwback, non-essential position some say.
  8. First mock of the 2021 offseason (officially): Not too shabby! Look at that OL though. The left side would be set AND Moton at RT. (Walker) Little, Meinerz, Humphrey, anyone and Moton. Whew boy!
  9. I believe Curtis can actually play on the outside and he will be much cheaper than Robbie will be when he hits FA. Heck, he's due $12M this coming season and he's our #2. Lost in this conversation is DJ Moore who also has a contract soon to expire.
  10. Robbie's early season stats say Teddy and him were on the same page. He didn't produce another 100 yard game after week 5 and had essentially 4 of them through those 5 games (99 in week 4).
  11. Wouldn't it make sense then to sign Samuel to a slot WR contract and find a rookie outside guy in the draft, economically speaking? As far as production, Robbie in a new system allowed him to have some nice game early in the season, but it seemed once teams got tape on how he was being used here in Carolina, his production fell off.
  12. Robbie started hot out of the gate, but faltered as the season went on. Call me partial, but I would rather re-sign Samuel now and let Anderson walk in FA after next season.
  13. Depending how the draft falls, I'm hoping to target a CB in round 3. The rookie and Pride Jr. on the outside and move Jackson to the slot. To be honest, I'm even considering double dipping with a late pick. Our corner situation was atrocious last season.
  14. The one that doesn't make sense is Robby Anderson. Dude is hardly a fixture on this team.
  15. Complete teams win championships. I had a feeling going into the game that the Chiefs D was going to be their down fall.
  16. Positional importance: DE>>>>>>>S/LB. Chinn could have had 20 more tackles, 3 more INTs and another scoop & score on his stat sheet and it wouldn't have mattered. All of which may have netted him few more votes.
  17. Please post all things Pro Day related. Here is a limited schedule release for starters from GBN. First Slate of Pro Days Announced
  18. The corner, edge and OL play from the Senior Bowl was really good. Don't be surprised if we draft 2-3 guys that participated in the Senior Bowl.
  19. I honestly don't think the organization was ever 100% behind Teddy as the future of the franchise, rather a temporary solution until we found that guy. Teddy couldn't even bridge that gap, sadly.
  20. I wanted to throw this out there for people clamoring about a 'sure thing' QB. I've said it before, you have to sometimes look below the surface and see what potential is there. Scouting is an inexact science and if it was all about the obvious (records, tangibles, hype) it would be easy. Some guys get overlooked because of lacking in physical stature, snubs on D-1 offers/4-5 star rankings out of high school, not coming from pedigree college programs or simply stereotypes. These guys used the snubs to crate a huge chips on their shoulders. Good for them. QBs That The Doubters Questioned
  21. Ron was able to take whomever he wanted with him to Washington, folks were let go or contracts not renewed; very little holdover to the Rhule era. Not much difference between the two scenarios. Peetz saw the writing on the wall and took another job this year (smart man). Chase Blackburn should already have his resume' updated...just say'n.
  22. Oh, he gives a poo alright, it's a matter of how he decides to handle himself. You can't be a athlete at this level and say money solves everything. Deshuan Watson would like a word with you.
  23. Sewell would not be a bad consolation prize at all. If we miss out on the 'big 4' and he's still on the board, that's my guy. We have been lacking a legit LT since Gross retired. While Gross was very solid and reliable, he wasn't exactly Joe Thomas either. Locking up a franchise LT for organization is a huge win even if we miss out on drafting our future face of the the franchise at QB for the time being.
  24. At this point Teddy is going to have some seriously hurt feelings, but take it like a pro and play here confidently if his replacement isn't found for 2021. Dude has to know he's looking to get kicked to the curb by the Panthers' brass. I doubt he lives under a rock.
