    The last quote about having a lot of time left... You really want your #1 pick to be it out the gate, but you can't argue he has gotten better every year. The bar was really low, but if he is better next year and the year after he will be a top 10 QB. Just sucks you didn't get that on a rookie deal which is the point of taking a guy #1 overall.

    I did not see that one but it is interesting. I know many hate PFF but they have him ranked the 2nd best deep ball thrower in the NFL. Is it because he only takes the shot when high percentage to hit? Is it Canales not calling them?

    You said he has every statistical metric in 2025 and then your whole argument is subjective. He does have the 2 wins head to head I’ll give him that. I’ll take the guy that is 11-5 TD to INT ratio over the other guys same starting period. Shough is good for a rookie but let’s not lose our minds just yet.

    My guess is he can only do a finite amount per week and the bad performances don’t get views from the non psycho fans like us but the good performances get a ton of clicks

    Not to be a dick here, but do you know what an algorithm is? I promise you that is what this is. They take a million stats from each players play from an automated tool (most likely AI at this point) and load all that data into an algorithm that spits out the quantitative data per play which aggregates however they do it to the scores you see.

    This stuff is all automated man. Literal 1000s different points of data get loaded into an algo that outputs these metrics. That’s the whole point of PFF, taking a more data driven approach to show stats differently
