  1. Ehhhhhhh kind of tired of this song and dance yet again. Granted Hurney just said it and did the exact opposite in letting players walk. But he didn’t exactly sign FAs either since he overpaid the wrong players. Being skilled in FA is just as important as the draft. I’d rather hear something like we’ll sign the best player no matter where they come from.
  2. I’m not sure what to think of this tbh. Because if we sign DJ for what he’s worth…that’s a poo ton of money to the WR position. Course we’ll have twenty million in one LB so why not lol
  3. Lol…of course I personally like PFF. All metrics have flaws. The curious thing is anyone who bitches about it on this forum for some reason can’t seem to point to a better source or metric I’m still waiting for that better source with perfect metrics as for the topic I think at his worst he’ll be solid depth. Just an opinion because preseasons means jack, but this is good
  4. I didn’t think it’d bother me but I realized I really do prefer a real field. Aside from cost, is there a benefit of turf?
  5. Franchise QBs don’t grow on trees. It’ll take time. That said if Fields shows out and Darnold flops that’s strike 2 in my opinion. After that (year 4) shouldn’t take much to be shown the door. If this team doesn’t have a winning season this year or next I’d seriously consider moving on. In the mean time I hope a good team is built and the next qb is plug and play. It’s just as success of a blueprint.
  6. Uh the season hasn’t begun bro. Tf you talking about preseason is not a sample size lol there are some legit doom and gloomers here but seriously, recognizing the above does not qualify
  7. Because the main position responsible for protecting him is probably the worst position group on the entire team (and has been for a while now)? I’d question whether they’re coddling the oline. Not even worthy to protect the starting qb in a preseason game. But honestly who knows. Maybe it’s just the way Rhule does things. And really I don’t care, cause it won’t matter. He’s got 17 games…he’ll either look good or we move on.
  8. I yea this is very optimistic. I’m very skeptical of that Oline. It’s been a problem for years. It hasn’t been addressed properly and at other times ignored. We’ve known it’s a problem. I hope the coaches know it’s a problem (sometimes it’s hard to tell). This isn’t a surprise, it’s not new, it’s obviously a problem.
  9. I agree, tho Rhule said in the NFC S teams are putting their best rushers on the right. But regardless I’d feel much more comfortable with Moton left and anyone else on the right at this point. The huddle has been calling for Moton at left since this FO can’t comprehend the position or oline altogether.
  10. Davis didn’t do poo after 3 games when teams realized he wasn’t an absolute scrub, except vs the a god awful Broncos. Davis was overrated imo
  11. ‘I don’t see athleticism in your gene pool, maybe on the golf course’ lol I do love the new rule change from 2 steps or whatever to an ‘athletic move’. Athletic move is a little subjective but I have seen numerous obvious fumbles not called because 2 steps weren’t taken or whatever it was
  12. 5-12, could split with the Falcons and go 6-11 if we surprise a few teams and actually trend up 7/8 wins would be nice 9 wins would be great but very surprising Not sure where you guys get 10-11 wins, that borderline delusional optimism imo
  13. I long for the day when another teams’ demise does not determine our success. But alas it’s all we have. I’ll take it.
  14. Yea we tied for 7th with two other teams lol. Whoopie. However one of those teams now has their franchise qb and best prospect in quite some time. Jags. I personally think the Bengals will be better. Falcons too. Raiders well. I think the garbage teams for next year will be the Jets, Lions, Broncos, and Texans. After that…the Eagles. Then the Panthers. So yea, if I had to guess right at 6 next year. I’m also curious who ranks at the bottom the past three years averaged….pretty sure we are def bottom 6 then.
  15. This is pretty accurate. Bottom 6 of the league is definitely our arena. It was around bottom 10 of the league but that got fuged up averaging 5.7 wins over the last 3 seasons. Objectively speaking and looking at the NFL and having to pick 6 teams I’d probably pick the Panthers as well, tbh. The deep bottom dwellers a couple years ago have surfaced with promising QBs and other moves (Browns, Bengals, Jags, Chargers etc) and it’s a shuffle down at the bottom between the Lions, Raiders, Jets Texans and yea…Panthers. Dear lord don’t let us be the new age Browns.
  16. no, save your money for double ply toilet paper
  17. yea let’s be real if it was brees or Ryan in that pic it would instantly become a huddle gif classic favorite with plenty of pussy QB commentary to go with it..this is fact I know the cam stans here like to think no other QB has been hit like that and survived and only their beloved cam could possibly do it, but that is not true at all whatsoever. Brees has been obliterated and still kept playing. Hate or love brees he is tough. So was a million other QBs I could name. However that wasn’t even what was said. What was said is if we had a similar gif of another qb not falling on the fumble, the huddle would have a hay day with it. But because it’s cam there might be an excuse or justification because it’s just not possible he could fug up, Stan mentality
  18. Lol the fact the gif triggers you guys cam had a super sayan 2015 and it was godly I will never forget it and will probably be my favorite season ever that gif is great because it separates objective cam fans from the creepy cam stans. He clearly fuged up, and anyone who tries to analyze it with all kinds of justifications and excuses you can pretty much ignore their bias takes on cam as a qb, cam wasn’t perfect imagine if that was brees or matt Ryan I’d love to see those comments Cam can still make mistakes and be one of the toughest sob’s to play this game, because he is.
  19. Solicitation is a very broad word and the details determine if it’s federal or not. So far this is civil so the DA doesn’t matter. We absolutely do not know what there is enough evidence of to take to court or not, including the accusations aside from solicitation. What you see in the media is probably 1/100 of all the details. This is an ongoing pending civil case/investigation, the public are not privy to most details. And a DA certainly will take a case that may or may not have enough evidence based on the situation. I’ve been in numerous cases of he said she said domestic violence cases brought to court by the DA. Hell, more than one where the victim no longer wanted to proceed, and when that happens it’s extremely unlikely anything in court will either. Determining credibility of evidence is largely a responsibility of the court/judge, not the DA.
  20. If true - according to several complaints there is much much more than solicitation. I am not sure where you got that idea. And since this is my field, the FBI is investigating extortion, not Watson, which the feds will often take if it’s interstate and/or conveyed electronically (and this seems to be both), because of the complexity and varying degrees of laws between states and the lack of communication and cooperation there would be not only between states but also in gathering evidence from such entities as websites, email accounts, phone/cellular tower records which are extremely difficult for one state to obtain for a variety of areas (essentially the fact the crime did not occur in what could be defined in a central location).
