Worst graded offensive line in the entire NFL. I have never seen it this bad in Panther’s existence. Even Darnold has never seen it this bad his entire time with the Jets. It has been done, just not as easy. And it’s usually not us that finds them. Also there is nothing wrong with sitting a rookie QB if the guy they want is available and an olineman isn’t. I also said a QB next year is fine just they same. Players can be found everywhere. Picking timing for things is really kind of a stupid thing to debate over. The patriots found a stud guard in the 5 round. The question is who is making the moves, evaluating the talent in the draft and being able to sign their guy in FA. That’s what’s going to matter than the timing of it all. And thus far we fail in that category. The point was it will take 2 years of diligence, however it is sliced, to make it work.

It’s not, the Panthers have dug that hold and prolonged the inevitable. You build that line with next draft and QB next draft and build in through 2 FAs and 2 drafts and hope to have something decent by 2023. Sit the rookie, lame duck QB until the line is stable.

Here is a fact Darnold is already paid and you’re not going to be able to trade him. He is the perfect lame duck while the rookie sits for next season and fresh start 2023. Pay cam is just more money for more trash. Makes zero sense.
