College Football Week 11: As the Harbaugh Continues to Turn
CmC2k replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
I love him as a prospect but I really think he does. I have him as QB #3 but with his question marks I have him going as QB 5 or 6 depending on if a team really likes Riley Leonard from Duke. -

He's definitely going to be there at the top of the 2nd. The age, knee stuff, supporting cast, and being a left-handed QB is going to have him slip out of the 1st in my opinion unless some team jumps to 30-32 to get the 5th year option. Hopefully he slips out of the 1st, and we can upcharge a team for a trade up since Qb picks are a premium. -

I'm all in on Bryce as our guy but Michael Penix is gonna slip in the draft and be a steal for some team. -
This is 90% of all our downfield passing playbook and you expect Bryce to be successful with this? We don't have the speed to go deep so instead of trying to find creative ways to get guys open downfield we just completely removed it from the playbook. It's a lot easier to play defense when you know you only gotta defend 15 yards down the field.

Reich has to go 100% as soon as today. He had to have watched the film we put out late last year showing that we found a successful formula in winning by pounding the rock with power running plays and playing the time of possession game and instead of choosing to build on that formula that we found successful he chose instead to do the complete opposite and trash that and make us a zone running short passing WCO team. The players look defeated because they know that're not being put in places to succeeded. There's no emotion from the offense because they know they're beat before the game is even kicked off. I don't blame them it has to suck being dominated by the 2 worst defense in football in back-to-back weeks and seeing your "offensive" head coach do nothing different and keep running the same concepts that haven't worked all season.

Yeah Frank is fired by the end of this weekend.
-
Watch Corbett telegraphing the snap every play. He does the same protection call routine and motion and it allows the Dline do jump the snap every play.
-
Time to fire frank. Give Evero a chance to see if he's worth the job
-
We're getting every single lucky break possible and we're still getting dominated.
-
Fire Frank Reich.

Donte has been playing well tonight

Listen I understand we're a bad team, but I don't tune into a panther game to hear about the Eagles for 30 minutes. It's like I'm watching a Kelce Podcast with a panther game in the background.

WHAT A THROW BRYCE

You gotta get one of the big fish in either Higgins or Pittman. Then snag another solid contributor like a KJ Osborn or a Tyler Boyd. Combine a pair of them with AT, Mingo, and Viska and you'd have a WR core that can actually be effective. That would open up our options with our high 2nd round pick to either take a talent that has fallen in the draft or being able to trade back so we can recoup some assets we lost during the Bryce trade and allow us to build some depth to this team.

I'd say 4-4. The CMC trade was already pretty much done before Wilks had a chance to get things right and plus, I feel Wilks would've summed his inner Ron Rivera and ran him into the ground, so I'd still trade CMC. I don't think Wilks would've wanted to trade up all the way to number #1 so the Texans would've swapped with Bears and Bryce goes there. CJ would go to the colts, and we would've either done a small trade up for Richardson or stayed put at 9 and took Levis. Both of which would be sitting their entire rookie year unless Darnold got hurt as Darnold showed that he could effectively be a game manager in Wilks 2000s ground and pound offense.

The hornets have actually assembled a really talented team for being a small market. They just can't seem to get the coaching hire right. I still despise Kenny Atkinson and hope he gets blacked balled from coaching anywhere except Golden State.

It only took 1 week for the DC of the 32nd ranked defense in the NFL to figure out and get the playbook for our shiny new play caller.
-
With Rhule it was quick 1-year swings at the QB position so seeing bad QB play was tolerable because we knew in the off-season, we'd have a chance to swing again. With Bryce we are attached to him for 3 years at least.

I always hear how Reich is such a likeable guy and is a player's coach and is well respected around the league but the ONE GAME where you'd think that his players would want to win for him and play inspired, and we come out and look like this. Wilks did a lot more with almost the same roster minus Bryce. It seems that we are ruining a O shaped scheme with a bunch of square shaped players. Wilks saw we had a bunch of square shaped players and had us play a square shaped scheme.

I know you're joking but I don't hate that idea

At this point let's have McCown call the plays.

That's what happens when you check down the whole game.

Why are we always the "career best" for any kicker ever?
