  1. The Manning's know just how hard it is mentally to play QB in the NFL so I really doubt they would let Arch go after 1 full season as a starter in college. He's making a boat load in NIL right now, so he doesn't need to leave for money reasons. Having him stay in college so he can fully develop as a QB before he goes pro is the route they will go with. If they wanted him to go pro as soon as possible he wouldn't have stayed or even went to Texas. Steve Sarkisian sold the Manning family on being able to develop Arch as a QB and I feel like they are going to be patient.
  2. There's no way the Manning family is letting Arch declare for the draft in 2026. The Manning's are smart and aren't pressed for money. They know Arch is gonna be the 1st pick whatever year he declares so I think they keep him in college till at least 2027 but I wouldn't be shocked if he stayed till 2028 to get 3 full seasons as a starter under his belt before going pro.
  3. Wonnum and Patrick Jones are solid starters and should be able to play well as we allow the rookies to get their feet wet. Between those 4 and Barno needing to be active for special teams reasons how was Clowney gonna get his reps? Good on the front office for pulling the band aid off now because I guarantee you by mid-season Clowney would be complaining about playing time and production exactly like he did in Cleveland. Clowney needs to learn that teams view him as a productive veteran stop gap with attitude issues and no team is building their edge room around him.
  4. I like Thielen he has great chemistry with Bryce and is super clutch but if he's going to hang up the cleats next offseason then this will be a good time to sell high on his value. I'm all for keeping him if he's communicated his willing to resign and play for at least this year plus the next. I feel like by the trade deadline we should have a feel on his willingness to resign and play in 2026.
  5. He's also going to be 35 going into the season and on the last year of his deal. I think we should be looking to see what we could get.
  6. Renfrow also has return experience, so I won't be shocked if he makes the team. Should allow us to dump Theilen for a mid to late round pick to a SB contender around the deadline. Theilen is gonna want to try and compete for a ring this year with him being at his age and in a contract year I can for sure see use maybe getting a 4th or a 5th around the deadline.
  7. Please take Princely Umanmeilen at 57. Dan Morgan said the team is gonna value production in this draft and Princely has put up 17.5 sacks and 26 TFLs over the past two seasons.
  8. I think we trade down to #12 with Dallas for a 3rd. When you look at the Pick value chart picks 12 and 76 from Dallas work almost evenly for pick 8. Then watch us take Walter Nolen at 12 and try and get his teammate Princely Umanmielen in the 2nd. That would leave us with left 2 3rds 2 4ths and 3 5ths to address depth and other needs.
  9. Glad to have you back lord commander Dan and Dave have assembled a talented group of draft prospects that will in no way upset the huddle with their selection on draft weekend.
  10. Let Moton play out his contract this year he has earned that money. Moton has been a good sport and has done nothing but put in work despite how bad the team has been since he's got here. Moton is a guy everyone should want to retire a career Panther. I understand the concerns about his knees so a team friendly deal of a year or 2 next offseason sounds like a good move. Moton strikes me as a smart dude and if his knees are gonna hinder the quality of life he will have after his playing days are done then I suspect he'll hang up the cleats earlier than some expect.
  11. Milroe has the physical traits to be the best QB of this class by far, but he has so much he has to get better at as far as being a consistent threat as a passer. He can make some really WOW throws but he's not consistently reading the defense and disputing the ball efficiently. If he's forced to be a starter early in his rookie year he's really gonna struggle but if he can go to a team like the Rams and sit behind 2 vets in Matthew Stafford and Jimmy G plus get coaching from Mcvay he has the chance to be a heck of a player. The Rams make a ton of sense as they've built a young really good defense, but they are relying on an aging Matthew Stafford who could chose to retire in a year or 2. The Rams coaching and front office are too good to where they'll be in position to take a QB in the top 10 anytime soon so I could definitely see them taking a swing and Milroe as a long-term investment type deal. I think a lot of teams saw what the Packers were able to do going from Rogers to Jordan Love and are gonna try and replicate that success.
  12. I like the April Fool's joke but if there's one player in the NFL who isn't on PED's its Bryce. Just look at our short King I'm pretty sure the NFL doesn't even test him it would be a waste of a test.
  13. My preference is to trade back and take Matthew Golden but if we stay at 8 I'm taking Jalon Walker. There are some guys that you just know are gonna be good players based on their personality and the more I see of Jalon Walker talking about football the more confident I am in that belief. He'd be a perfect fit with the culture Dave and Dan are building here. His ceiling is Micah parsons, and his floor is a Frankie Luvu but on steroids with his elite athleticism.
  14. Rookie Kelvin Benjamin was a stud. It's a shame his career went the way it did because I had such high hopes for him after that season.
  15. The reason Mykel or Shemar will be the pick is because both of them have the ability to play a 3/4 edge or a 4-3 DE. We are planning for a future where Evero isn't here either by choice or he takes a job elsewhere when his contract expires at the end of the season. We needed a young edge and while I like Jalon Walker's athleticism as a 3-4 edge the value isn't there as top 10 pick if he's forced to be an inside LB in a 4-3 with a new DC. I'd love the Mykel pick at 8 as I feel the ankle injury played a big role in his lack of production this year. As for Shemar he's just way too much of a project to take at 8 and he could be had at a trade down spot. His sack numbers are concerning but his overall pressure numbers are good but after watching Burns miss and whiff on so many sacks for 5 years I can't take another player who's gonna have high pressure numbers but can't convert them to sacks.
  16. I understand wanting to keep Burrow happy and they did that by paying both Chase and Higgins but they should've been more worried about keeping Burrow healthy. Now with 40% of their cap space going to 3 players it's gonna be tough to build a good Oline around him and that's not even mentioning the defensive side of the ball. Burrow has already gotten seriously hurt twice behind their poor Oline. That GM is gonna have to face some tough questions when they lose games 42-35 cause the defense is so void of talent due to the lack of resources to improve it or if Burrow gets hurt and they have both receivers out there running cardio because the back up QB can't get them the ball and the Oline is giving up pressure.
  17. That Watson thread was legendary. Does anyone have the eggshell picture?
  18. Steelers gave up a 2nd that sealed the deal. Would've loved to have Dk but smart move by Dan and Brant to not overpay.
  19. I think it gets done with our 3rd and some sort of pick swap like our 2nd 5th from the giants in 141 down to their pick 173 at the end of the 5th round.
  20. I'd do our 3rd and give him an extension similar to what Jaylen Waddle got with an average value of about 28 million. That's about the sweet spot for Dk in that Waddle, Dj Moore and Tee Higgins pay range. Guys with the talent and skill to be number #1s but who are best in a WR 2 role.
  21. Would love to add him to the edge room. He's a really good speed rusher who has put up good sack numbers despite some injuries and limited snaps as a back up. He could come here and play a role similar to early career Mario Addison and be effective and providing good speed rush versus a tired Oline.
  22. It's a 2-year deal with low guarantees that we could probably get out of next year if we really wanted to. Tremble is a young TE whose and excellent blocker and still has some receiving upside I'm ok with the deal. The total number is slightly high but I'm sure it's got some incentives in there that we'd be overly excited if Tremble reached them.
  23. Depending on the number I like this he's good when healthy. I like Mayes at C more, but Corbett played well before he got hurt. Even if Corbett loses the C job he will be really good guard depth and make losing Brady Christensen hurt a little less.
  24. Dk is the WR equivalent of Brain Burns and we only got a 2nd and a 5th so I'm sure that price will come down.
  25. According to Spotrac we have almost 190 million of cap space in 2026 and 430 million in 2027. Brandt Tilis would almost certainly be able to find a way to fit a Dk extension in there. With how the cap always seems to go up more than expected each year and our spotty drafting success we don't have many players that we need to sign to big extensions. Morgan is a way better PRO scout than the is a college scout if last year is any indication so let him cook in free agency and improve this team. I think we will be more active than people expect. As far as trading for Dk I'd be willing to do 3rd at max and hope the Seattle connections between Morgan and Canales would be enough to swing the trade into our favor.
