If Sam pulls a Geno smith and turns his career around then good for him, he deserves it. He's by all indication a good dude and a great teammate. He's handled getting benched with class and watching the team go out during the offseason and turn over every stone to try and find someone to replace him with and then having to "compete" in a fake QB battle with Baker knowing that no matter how well he played he was not going to win the competition.

Imagine the media outburst if Cam did something like that in his prime?

Anthony Richardson can either be Josh Allen lite or Terrelle Pryor 2.0. It all depends on who drafts him and what plan they have to develop him.

MacAdoo designed the offense for Darnold so hopefully we'll see some more variety in the plays this week. 21/32 231 yards 1TD 1 INT 6 rushes 55 yards with 1 lost fumble on a sack Darnold makes 2-4 "WOW" plays that show that he has the talent but the turnovers and missed throws with bad pocket footwork show that he's still the same guy he was last year.

If we as an organization have decided tank the rest of the season, I can see them starting Darnold. However, if Wilks is still trying to win games, then I think he goes back to PJ.

If we stay at the #2 pick, then either Stroud or Young. If we fall out of that range, then Richardson at whatever pick we do have I don't care if it'll be considered a reach.
