  1. If he is legit he is sure writing for some weird ass website, but again its out there now its on stroud and his team to correct it
  2. His wiki page is less then impressive Bob McGinn is an American sportswriter, best known for his 38-year tenure covering the Green Bay Packers. McGinn, who retired in 2017, worked for the Green Bay Press-Gazette and the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel since the early I suspect if strouds score is being reported wrong then we should hear something by the end of the day. If its not refuted.......oh boy Would makes sense now that AR is our #2 if they value the s2 that heavily I for one welcome our bryce young overlords
  3. I live and breathe football and I have never heard of a site called Golong or mcginn draft. Doesnt mean he isnt credible but its a pretty rando site
  4. If it leaks from more then one person I would probably give it a bit more credence to the report but its on some rando article for now
  5. Since when did being calm under pressure become a bad thing. Like I said its a hit piece, he may have scored bad but damn this week some people have been leaking some bullshit about stroud
  6. I dont think the test means nothing but it is weird this is the first year a big deal has been made of it. If he scored 18, which seems like something is way off compared to the other scores, then I would like to hear it from him. The s2 dudes said all the top qbs scored high so this is kindof weird.
  7. Jesus thats a hit piece on stroud “Stroud scored 18,” an executive said. “That is like red alert, red alert, you can’t take a guy like that. That is why I have Stroud as a bust. That in conjunction with the fact, name one Ohio State quarterback that’s ever done it in the league.” When another executive was informed that Stroud scored extremely low, he said that it confirmed what he had seen on tape. “That was my concern with him,” the scout said. “His personality is just sort of calm and mellow and laidback, and that’s the way he plays. You look at how Bryce Young plays and how Stroud plays, I don’t see how anyone can look at those two play football and you’d want that guy (Stroud) over Young. Bryce’s mind is so quick and he processes so fast. Whereas with Stroud, everything is much, much more programmed.”
  8. https://theathletic.com/4420436/2023/04/21/bryce-young-nfl-draft-short-quarterbacks-stats-history/ Sure it can work but a lot of things have to go right. And you are starting from behind the 8 ball as it is. A high-ranking NFC talent evaluator granted anonymity because he was not authorized by his team to speak on the record says Young was limited by his size only when he tried to escape a big defender. “He’s elusive, but when a big guy gets his hand on him, he is going to go down,” he says. “Young can’t break away from someone like bigger quarterbacks can.”
  9. At the combine Young measured in at 5' 10" and 204 pounds. There are 36 quarterbacks in NFL history who have played at least 50 games at six feet and 210 pounds or fewer. Eleven of them played in at least 100, most recently Drew Brees. I mean this has to be acknowledged. We are banking on the rarest of rare outcomes
  10. ^ thats the best you could find LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
  11. rhule darnold willis baker and now young. God help us
  12. I was told yesterday the nfl has been changing the rules to stop hits like this
  13. Or just pick richardson and watch both sides burn
  14. Like it or not those two guys will probably be linked and compared on here until the end of time.
  15. I really think we are making a big mistake going with young. I’ll get on the train once it happens but damn.
  16. https://www.theringer.com/video/2023/4/19/23689432/is-c-j-stroud-the-most-talented-passer-in-the-2023-nfl-draft
  17. so it just was a total coincidence with rg3 was that his frame was a concern and they worried about his body holding up long term and lo and behold that came to fruition?
