  1. You can question a lot of things about Bryce but from literally everything I've ever heard or read the guy works very hard behind the scenes. I mean his preparation for games at Alabama was so impressive that apparently Fitterer and co had to cut him off when he got to like Wednesday or something. He does seem like a genuinely nice person so it's easy to root for him because god can you imagine how reviled he would be if he was Jimmy Clausen
  2. I really like Chuba, this is a fair deal for both sides and I think it's important as an organization to send a message that we retain our home grown talented players who do the right things. FURTHER and what I haven't seen yet is: A few years ago we decided not to trade Burns and instead of signing him RIGHT THEN we waited and ultimately took a big loss on the compensation. We clearly learned from that. If you aren't going to trade someone then re-sign them. That is good business in my mind.
  3. I'm actually excited to see what Dan can do with all our picks in this upcoming draft. Hoping that while the top flight talent doesn't look great it is a deep draft where we can find quality starters and backups
  4. I'm starting to like what I'm seeing from the penn state DE, also speaks to my point of trading down to acquire a future first if someone is dumb enough
  5. agreed defense has to be focus of the upcoming draft
  6. well thank god XL was technically a first round pick!
  7. Who says you can't have a good jump scare after halloween ends? But in all seriousness I can't believe we got a fourth for him
  8. Ickey at LT and Brady as Center / Swing position player is more valuable to our team IMO
  9. That's fair but signing a veteran like Justin Fields to a one year deal and drafting defense with our first is always an option two. I personally don't think these QBs this year are top 10 worthy selections
  10. Saints subreddit basically views Bryce as a hero lmao
  11. Oh don't get me wrong I don't think Bryce is the longterm answer by any means. But people want us to draft Cam ward 1 overall. I'd much rather build the team up this offseason
  12. well yea if they get something worthwhile for him than yes I'd pull the trigger but I can't see a team offering something high for him right now. Russini said on her pod we'd likely get more for him in the offseason anyway
  13. But it is funny to me that Chicago fans are finally realizing that Moore is closer to a WR 1/2 than a true blue number one WR I'm talking like AJ brown, JJ, Hill, Chase type WR. He isn't in that group. He probably isn't even in the group after that. he's likely the 15 best WR in the league or so (which is good!) but Chicago fans acted like they got prime Jerry Rice from us
  14. Honestly though a WR trio of DJ Moore, Coker and XL would be lethal. That being said he just signed a contract extension in Chicago. He would have to be traded and I highly doubt there will be a reunion in Carolina
  15. The bottom line is bryce looks vastly better than weeks 1 and 2 and there is no reason to not play him moving forward. There is no downside. If he starts sucking again we are right back where we are right now. But if he can continue to improve (even if he will never be a top 10 QB) we can build the team around him and bide our time till the right QB becomes available.
  16. At this point every win feels like winning a playoff game so I don't blame people for being excited
  17. I got banned from that subreddit a long time ago for saying that Marty Hurney was stupid for giving out two giant runningback contracts so glad to see they are still delusional
  18. I'm not going to tolerate Chuba slander on here. Guy has done nothing but work his ass of since getting here. When he first started he was a timid runner who always went down on first contact. Yesterday he had a game winning touchdown run on a cutback where he broke multiple tackles
  19. The combination of Matt Rhule, Scott Fitterer and David Tepper might be the worst in the history of the league or at least in the convo
  20. This is better than our last three drafts combined under Tepper. Look it up if you don't believe me
  21. HUH? Joe Burrow was a four start recruit who went to Ohio st. You're reaching here
  22. you could stop your draft after pick 43 and that would be a HOF draft
  23. Hence the rarely part. Joe Burrow by all accounts is a scouting anomaly and also had one of the best college football seasons of all time.
  24. He played better today than he has in a long time, maybe ever. He still has issues of running into pressure and at times refuses to push the ball downfield but at least he showed accuracy today that hasn't been there earlier this year
