I think when it's all said and done Mason Graham ends up being the pick, seems like a Dan Morgan type player and we desperately need help in both the pass rush and run stopping department.

Welp boys... We might actually win Sunday

I'm leaning him or Abdul Carter at this point. I don't think Travis Hunter will fall to us and Will Johnson has not had a good season. I think both would be excellent picks and worthy of top 5 picks this year

Current Draft Position & Potential Prospects
SOJA replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
OP always has excellent draft takes but i forsee Carter playing himself into a top 5 pick. He has tantalizing tools and teams will convince themselves they can develop him into Micah Parsons. My current big board subject to change is: Travis Hunter Mason Graham Abdul carter Will Johnson Tmac I think if we fall to 6-7 we still end up with one of those guys -
I have been critical of Bryce but he looks like a completely new person after the benching. It would be crazy for us to not see what we've got with him moving forward. This draft is not good for QBs anyway. Build up the team and re-eval QB in 2026

Dan Morgan has done an excellent job since taking over Turned our oline from arguably one of the worst in the NFL to a top 5 one Drafted 4 contributors to our team with his first four picks and got a future second out of it as well Got a fourth rounder for Mingo Signed DJ Wonnum who at minimum is like 75% of what Brian Burns would be giving us IMO Signed Jalen Coker as an UDFA outside of giving away Dionte he has hit on nearly every single move
-
yea if we don't get edge round 1 it would be hard to pass up in round 2 I agree.

bc Malachi Starks is the only safety in this class worth drafting and if he was there in the second he's 100% worth the pick

Carolina may not "be sold" on young (per athletic)
SOJA replied to Champagnepapi704's topic in Carolina Panthers
again I believe it will happen but at this point its speculation -
Bye week trivia- Without looking it up, Who leads the Panthers in...
SOJA replied to Basbear's topic in Carolina Panthers
before I opened this thread I knew the question would be our sack leader and gun to my head I honestly could not tell you and I follow this team religiously -
Carolina may not "be sold" on young (per athletic)
SOJA replied to Champagnepapi704's topic in Carolina Panthers
this is getting around on the internet as a legit rumour when really it's just speculation on person's part. Not saying it won't happen but there is nothing substantial to back this up -
Let me be absolutely clear Daniel Jones is not a franchise QB and I will be furious if we sign him with that intent. That being said, some team somewhere in the league will convince themselves they can rehabilitate him given the recent success of Geno, Baker and Darnold. I just pray we leave that to someone else.

this is the best idea I've heard regarding Evero like ever

What franchises are in worse shape than the Panthers
SOJA replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Trying to be as objective as possible, it' still us. Yes the Browns have the deshaun contract but they have a talented roster otherwise. Yes the Jets have been historically not great but they too have a lot of talent. The Jaguars are perpertually finding themselves at the bottom and depending on how you feel about Lawrence they are maybe the only team you could say is just as hopeless as us but they have some young talented players as well so I would put them over us too. Until we string together multiple solid drafts we will remain the least hopeful team just due to our lack of talent on the roster, forget the QB position -
this is my best one yet no trades
-
My understanding is they did try to sign Luvu but he went to Washington for a similar deal or less money to play for Quinn. Can't blame him for that Chinn needed a restart. He's a talented player that I'm not sure we ever figured out how to use correctly. I still think about last year at TC where it was clear he didn't really have a position on the team
-
Feel very good we are going to get some good defensive lineman in the first four rounds
-
here you go
-
YES we NEED a true NT. We have been missing that since Star left
-
We have, on paper, probably the least talented defense in the NFL. Outside of Jaycee and Clowney I'm not sure anyone on our defense starts on 75% of other NFL defenses. Evero isn't perfect but he is not the problem. Personnel is.
-
TBH a front of Ashawn playing like he did yesterday, Clowney, Brown and Wonnum is not a bad base. Add in a top flight rookie, a later round pick at edge and hopefully a true NT and we may be decent
-
I don't really see the downside of playing Bryce. (and yes I have heard the draft compensation argument and tbh I don't think he has much trade value anyway) Just play him and see what we've got My theory on why Canales won't announce him at the starter is two fold: a.) he doesn't want Bryce to feel the pressure of having to be the franchise savior b.) he's showing the team no one is above evaluation
-
The guy from Penn St, James Pierce and this guy would all be good picks IMO. Anyone that can rush the passer is my pick for round 1

after the last few years we desperately need to get rid of the stink of this organization. Winning helps that. Also if there was any draft where it probably doesn't matter having the top overall maybe even top 5 overall pick it's this one. This draft is not great at top end talent. It's a lot of normal first and second round grade guys IMO
