I remember that short period of our team history. We were as bad as the Cowboys.

I really really hope they can capture some magic when they enter the playoffs. This season has been fun and another early to mid-round exit would be disappointing. But I am a Carolina sports fan so I am used to it.

If we get Jimmy G-string or Baker Mayfold I hope the team is smart enough to make either a one year deal.

After Harbaugh left he fell apart. He wasn’t that good to begin with. He, infamously, couldn’t read defenses well and was a single read QB. Kap had the perfect situation with the coach and team, kinda like Jimmy G., to make the most of what he was and to hide his weaknesses. If he wants to be back in the NFL he may have to settle for a backup role.

49er fans really want us to take him and give them our 1st round pick. To that I say…HAH!

On the financial side Mayfield and Jimmy contracts and what their teams want are a major obstacle. 49ers fans think they can get our 1st round pick for and oft injured mediocre QB. Which makes me laugh every time I see once of their mock drafts. Plus the 9ers are gonna have to take on some of Jimmy’s contract. We can’t afford his contract straight up. Baker’s attitude aside, Panthers will need the Browns to take on most of his contract and we are not giving up our first round pick for Baker. If the 9ers or Browns are willing to take less and give more then I think the Panthers could get them for a one year rental. If not I don’t want them.

And I want a toilet made of solid gold. But you can’t have what you don’t have the cards for.

Saints can have him. Taints are toxic so he would fit right in.

Good lord. It is literally a guy repeating speculation. Baker has already said he wants to go to the Seahawks.

I mean the fact that Rhule has been out of the media’s eye for the most part and Fitterer has pretty much become the face of the front office implies something.

Really? I had heard he wants new updated uniforms, which haven’t come to fruition, but I didn’t know he wanted to change the team name.

You’re right. But it feels like the groundwork for getting rid of Keep Pounding was laid last season. Remember when there was no Keep Pounding chant or Scoreboard prompt during the Jets game last season? They only returned it after fan backlash and made some stupid excuse as to why it wasn’t there. I don’t understand what this owner and coach hope to gain from trying to remove legacy traditions and sayings and think the fans won’t notice. Not everything has the stink of the old regime. Not everything needs to be changed. Like our history.

I, personally, would have no problem with this, other than it being kinda cringe and cheesy, if we were a good football team.

I feel so sorry for the Chargers and their fans. Never can seem to put it all together. They had a really good team last year and a QB that played Elite. Missed the playoffs at 9-8. Hard knock life.

If we could get a mid round 1st and a couple of 2nds or a 2nd and 3rd I’d be fine with that.

If there is one thing the sports industry has taught me. You can be absolutely atrocious at your job and you will still keep said job. Wish that worked in the real world.

While I really have no interest in the draft this year. The fact the mockers are all over the place is telling.

I’m usually sick of draft talk by this point in the process but all the guests have been excellent and made this dumb football fan smarter.

If we get Jimmy I hope they don’t extend him and just let him finish his contract with us and then kick him to the curb. Problem is 49ers know Jimmy may not be ready for training camp and STILL want too much for him. I don’t like Darnold but at least with him we would be guaranteed another top 10 pick.
