    Whatever happens it is gonna be a long and hard offseason and the team next year will look different. If Rod returns maybe he needs a down year. Either miss the playoffs or barely make it. Maybe that will change SOMETHING.

    Still see people say we should remember how bad it was before Rod. Yeah, I remember. But that ended 5 years ago and who is to say new ideas won't breed success. I am just tired of losing in the playoffs.

    I kinda feel that too. Feels like a Marvin Lewis situation. Bengals made the playoffs every season but that was it.

    At least we make the playoffs every year. Who cares if we never even make the Stanley Cup once. The dark times were bad but this feels worse somehow. Like we are stuck in a time loop and every year it is the same thing over and over. Rod is a great season coach. He is a terrible playoff coach. That can not be denied.
