No changes - just let the patient bleed out and harvest the organs in the offseason.
-
So Tepper is still allowing Fitterer make trades? God we're screwed.
-
How is he shell shocked? He's been sacked 29 times in 8 games this season (a good number of those are his own doing). Carr was sacked 76 times. It's night and day. I think part of the issue for Fitterer / the coaching staff is that if we started Dalton we'd probably actually win some games - and then you have to ask why we traded so much for Young.
-
It needs to be a Rosen or Clausen situation, where he's left out there leaving no doubt that he isn't the option going forward. The big concern, if Fitterer and Reich are rightly fired, is that Tepper will ask the new GM / HC how they plan to win with Young. When the question should be how do you plan to move on from Young.
-
Are we winning any other games?!? Anything? Or we going 1-16?

The most amusing thing to me is people putting any blame on Evero. He's running a MASH unit out there and holding opponents to 21 points or fewer most weeks. What more do you want from him? -

I honestly thought we'd go 0-17 about 3 games into the season. -
Nah it's the opposite - you ask the next GM / HC what their plan is to get us out of this Bryce Young shaped hole.
-
Nah, rock bottom will be Burns leaving as a Free Agent in the offseason when we turned down 2 first round picks and a second round pick for him last year (in addition to the Bears picking #1 overall).
-
Good advice - welcome to my ignore list.

No problem with that piece (as someone with a Journalism degree). Personally I wouldn't be calling out a vindictive billionaire, but more power to Fowler.
-
They're objectively not slow by the only metric NFL scouts care about.
-
No I don't, I want Fitterer and Reich fired yesterday - the team is talent poor (Fitterer) and the players aren't being put in positions to succeed (Reich). Despite that I can also see that the 5'10", 185lb QB with questionable arm strength that we gave up FIVE premium picks for isn't good enough.
-
Cos it demonstrates NFL arm strength. The play afterwards where he throws it into the stands 'cos he doesn't want to challenge the DB and the play starting at 5:12 where the DB breaks on the ball show his arm strength / what he actually thinks of it. The playbook is very, very limited with Young back there - he simply can't make a number of staple NFL throws.
-
When Orlovsky was announced as our first choice for QB Coach I knew we were in big trouble.
-
It's not rocket science, he can attack the defence at all three levels. Young cannot.
-
Why call deep routes if Young is unable / unwilling to hit them? 9 games in and no defence is worried about our ability to get in behind them now.
-
That is not a 15 yard out against an NFL CB.
-
Mingo runs a 4.46. Chark runs a 4.36. Marshall runs a 4.38 (admittedly at his Pro Day, so let's say he runs a 4.4). Ironically our slowest WR is the one that's open the most.
-
Clip 1 is why I don't watch his stuff anymore. He's determined to die on that Bryce Young hill. "They're all stop routes" - except Mingo is running an out. I'd want the ball to go to him, only Young knows that he doesn't have the arm to make that throw in the NFL... which is a big part of the problem.

A thought I had about Scott while taking a sh*t

Why delay firing Fitterer? I don't want to hand him 6 more Draft picks to waste and ask him to resolve the Burns issue (he either has to hand him an albatross contract or Franchise Tag and trade him this offseason). Do a proper search for a GM, give him full control over the football decisions and let him do his job.
