  1. I'm excited. A 2nd rounder is nothing for a guy as talented as he is. I've said it before but Darnold was my preferred option considering the others being 1) Trade peanuts for Darnold, a guy who teams were planning on tanking for just a few years ago. 2) Trade multiple first round picks plus stud players for Deshaun Watson, a guy who is constantly injured and has a massive cap hit. 3) Trade multiple first round picks just to pick from the scraps of this years draft. Darnold is the clear smart move in this case.
  2. It's hilarious seeing all of these people who were advocating making big moves and trading 3 firsts plus two starters for Deshaun Watson suddenly waving their arms in panic over a trade featuring a 2nd round pick lmao
  3. I would guess that their mindset is that they're a QB away from making the playoffs and that Sam Darnold has tremendous natural talent so Joe Brady can probably fix his woes.
  4. I'm excited. I'd rather gamble on Darnold for a 2nd than Gamble on someone else and have to give up multiple firsts.
  5. If you listen to the in game audio it didn't matter if he fell on it or not, we weren't going to win. Cam started pouting in the 2nd quarter and that's when it was over. It sort of made me sick hearing Luke and TD trying to rally the troops while Cam just sat on the bench staring off in to space with his lip hanging on the ground.
  6. When you make an analogy because a players production doesn't match his attributes and some guy comes out of nowhere implicating.
  7. I would much rather this happen than gambling three firsts on Zach Wilson. The smart decision isn't usually the most fun one.
  8. Mac Jones is safer than Fields. Fields is like a flashy sports car. He looks good in the highlights but when you really look in to him he is not reliable at all, makes constant mental mistakes, and underperformed massively considering all the talent around him. Mac Jones may be a Honda Civic but sometimes that's all you need.
  9. I've said all along that I didn't want them to just draft whoever was left at 8 because we need a QB. That's usually how stuff like EJ Manuel, Christian Ponder, and even Mitch Trubisky happen.
  10. https://old.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/md9av6/deshaun_watson_allegations_a_detailed/
  11. Do you believe that twenty random massage therapists independently noted that Deshaun Watson wanted them to stick their finger up his ass? That's an awful weird detail for so many people to mention.
  12. I don't want him after reading the details of the accusations. Are we really expected to believe that like 20 massage therapists had almost the exact same experience and it isn't true?
  13. I don't hate Mac Jones like most on here do, but it would be insane to spend 3 first round picks on the guy.
  14. I'd just like to point out that Rhule defended winning against Washington because of team chemistry then spent all off season dangling players as trade bait, which probably fugs up team chemistry more than a random loss ever will.
  15. The Falcons have been actively scouting Quarterbacks. It is a 50/50 shot on them taking one.
  16. We keep hearing about how he loves taking calculated risks, well the stakes just keep on getting higher for Watson.
  17. At this point I'm just going to watch Mac Jones highlight videos and listen to hurt by Johnny Cash
  18. At least with Grier there is a bit of uncertainty. You can trick yourself in to believing he might turn things around with the new coaching staff. That would probably only last like 2 games at the most, but it would be better than going in with Teddy and just knowing how its gonna go.
  19. Its been reports since like November than the 49ers were in love with Zach Wilson. This was when he came on to most peoples radar.
  20. I would rather watch Will Grier than Teddy.
  21. Anyone who was happy about winning that Washington game is just not smart.
  22. I'll never understand why ESPN hires some of the shittiest players and expects us to take their opinions seriously. Like, I don't care what Tim Hasselbeck, Trent Dilfer, or Dan Orlovsky have to say about things.
  23. Anyone who thought it was over was misinformed. How many times have we heard about Tepper loving to gamble? How many times have we heard about how much Tepper loves Watson?
