  1. People were saying the exact same thing about Wyndmon. There was a post specifically about it. It's ok, and dare I say good, when these unknown guys come in and make a couple plays. It's ok to be hopeful that maybe the team found someone that is better than expected.
  2. Yea I'm so tired of these soft zones and our most aggressive blitzes being a delayed 5th man. He has mixed it up a tiny bit more the past week or two with an immediate cb or safety blitz but still only ever sends 5 at most.
  3. You can still prioritize ras, just make sure they do agility drills too. Lol. All the high ras guys we draft don't do any agility drills. Their high ras comes entirely from height, weight, and 40 lol
  4. I'm not planing any flag. I don't know if Bryce is the long term answer or not. I know he's 23 years old and besides the Dallas game he's been one of our best players on the field and he's not been anywhere on the list of reasons we lost. I also know there is no better option to replace him this coming offseason and he has passed the eye/improvement test enough to earn a spot next season. I don't poo posts with any type of constructive criticism. I poo'd emotional takes that were trying to spin any positive in to a negative because of your need to be right. He could end up not being the answer, that still doesn't mean he hasn't improved and he hasn't made some great plays that are worth praising.
  5. Definitely, only the bs posts where people start squirming when Bryce looks decent and get insecure and have to make emotional posts to twist it.
  6. How many Josh Allen's are there? I think every team's wants a Josh Allen. There aren't many available very often. Look at Stroud this season when his oline and receivers haven't played as well.
  7. It's better than constant posts to bash him. Scrambling to the board even faster to do it when he has a good game to make sure to put a negative spin on it or say how it didn't matter.
  8. I've seen no tape to think he will run faster than 4.6
  9. If you grade qbs entirely on passing yards then you are right.
  10. The best of the offense being a 60.4 is one of the worst things I've ever seen.
  11. I feel like Cam always had some nagging injuries and stuff though from the start even though he didn't miss time for most of them. I believe he had ankle surgery in college and then had problems with it in his first couple seasons before all the shoulder stuff.
  12. I'm not sure wr is a luxury pick. We have 3 wr under contract next year. Thielen who plays slot and will be 35, XL who has a limited route tree and isn't a #1, Coker the UDFA who has exceeded expectations. That's it. That's the total group of wr under contract.
  13. His contract is up at the end of the year.
  14. I may be entirely wrong but I don't really remember Wilks being a great DC when he took over the defense. I believe he took over after Snow was fired and our defense regressed a lot? Maybe I'm misremembering though.
  15. He is our #1, but it's based on our lack of talent and the awful makeup of our wr group. He has been a pleasant surprise and definitely happy with him, but on a decent team he wouldn't be the #1.
  16. I want to watch the tape and see if Bryce reverted back to every pass being dink and dunk or if that was the play calls, because from what i saw on tv so far, I believe it was the play calls more than bryce.
  17. #3 and #4 combined with the fact no matter how you feel about Bryce, we aren't going to get a better qb this offseason, makes it so obvious that we have got to start focusing on some quick shifty wrs that can run the full route tree. I don't know why we absolutely refuse to acknowledge it and just continue to take big receivers who run fast 40s over and over.
  18. Agreed. He's been one of the best players on the team since the benching. All the people who are determined to be right about him being bad will quote record or stats but if you watch the tape and see the windows he's hitting and how he's anticipating them, they would see while not perfect, he's doing a lot with a little.
  19. That doesn't mean you stubbornly refuse to acknowledge that he has been playing much better the last several games. That's just as bad.
  20. Nailed it. He is nowhere near being on the list of why we lose. He is more confident, he's making plays in structure and out of structure, he's stepping up in the pocket when he needs to, he's running when he needs to, he's creating and improvising with a bottom tier receiving core. Has he been perfect? Of course not, does he pass the eye test? Definitely. He has been one of the best players on the field on either team in our last few games. Everyone that is determined to win the argument that he's bad are going to stand on the box score but if you watch the all 22 he has missed a few plays, but he has a lot more plays where he has made something out of nothing. He's not missing much out there folks. The biggest reason the passing numbers aren't bigger is because we are running a lot and if there is no receiver open to throw to then you're still counting that as a negative to Young if you're only looking at stats, and don't even get me started on the drops.
  21. I love drafting raw prospects, they just have to have elite traits, not just a 40 time, and they have to be young, not a 5 year college project. That is crazy.
  22. Our receivers are XL, 60 year old thielen, and ungraded rookie, and a rookie te who has shown flashes but has a lot to learn. We have also really focused on the run game to try to run games out so the other team has less possessions because our defense is bad even though it has looked better lately. Stop focusing on stats and use your eyes. Bryce is playing a totally different type of football since he came back from the benching. You can say you're not sure he will be a franchise qb right now sure, but he has been the best player on our team the past few weeks and no matter how pessimistic you want to be, he's not even on the list of reasons we are losing.
  23. Or Ladd. Would free us to take Tmac this draft and have a great duo of young receivers that compliment each other, but instead you basically can't put tmac and legette together.
  24. I hope you're right but I'm not as confident. If he was a young inexperienced player, I would agree but after 5 years of playing in college it's hard to expect players to make major changes in my opinion.
