  1. Hes fast in a straight line running 40 yards untouched. Hes not quick, nor good at change of direction. He has short arms and small hands for his size and wasnt a good route runner and routinely relied on making contested catches because he didnt get seperation in college. This would be such a panthers wr pick.
  2. I didnt really like the idea of this move anyways. A bit older receiver who is often hurt on a 1 year rental, when wide receiver is the deepest position in the draft.
  3. It was 2 years ago when burns had multiple years left on his rookie contract so it was a different value at that time. I remember teams inquired last year but I dont think we ever heard what any of the offers were, just that he wasnt available. Fitterer really was the worst gm we've ever had by far.
  4. That wasn't this offseason though so shouldn't really factor in. Unless you have a time machine there's not much you can do about that. Especially since its a new regime. They shouldnt be responsible for the last ones incompetence.
  5. Nah. If he sucks the same this year then we have the first pick next year to spend on a qb. If he is mediocre this year we dont have the first overall pick and we still have no idea what we are doing at qb. Crying over the past is getting a little old now. After the 2nd next year all of that will be in the past. It does no good to focus on that anymore.
  6. Having a mediocre qb sets your franchise further back than having a bad one.
  7. Two of my absolute least favorite receivers. That would be awful.
  8. Yea a few days ago I thought there was no way AD would make it to us, that he definitely wouldnt make it past the chiefs, but now that they signed Brown, it feels like a slightly more realistic possibility. AD reminds me of Ceedee Lamb without the elite yac Lamb has.
  9. I would be great with him in the 4th or later. His quickness and change of direction are elite.
  10. Hes nowhere near as fast unless you're just running untouched in a straight line for 40 yards. AD would be my #1 choice and then Ladd, of the ones mentioned.
  11. Drafting is at least a gamble that there is a chance to win. It will always be a risk but trading for qbs who have had multiple seasons to show who they are in the nfl will pretty much never be a win.
  12. It makes 0 sense in our current situation. He has another season on his cheap rookie contract and then we would have to pay him. You dont want to overpay a mediocre qb. I see literally no benefit. Bryce is our qb this season win, lose, or draw. If we lose then we draft his replacement next season. There are no quick fixes or half ass bandages.
  13. I actually think Evero's scheme works almost as good with an average group of players. It would obviously be better with a stacked roster but I dont think it would be as much better as you might think. Evero's scheme is a pretty safe, bend don't break, everyone just do your job scheme. His specialty is overachieving.
  14. For the cap isnt real folks, this is what happens when you screw yourself with the cap.
  15. The guy is 23 and just finished his 5th season of college football, which was his only decent one. Saying hes still really raw sounds like Fitterer.
  16. Yea thats an example of why I cant respect his opinion that much. He gets caught up.
  17. Harrison has tape of his speed and getting seperation though. I dont want any receiver who was known for how well they made contested catches in college.
  18. I just saw this earlier. Much bigger numbers were being put out yesterday it seemed like. Mostly from national media and buffalo media because they wanted to try to make it look like an overpay I assume.
  19. Thats awesome, but those being his main selling points reminds me of all the posts about Corral being the first to the field. I woild take a flyer on him or coleman in the third but not with one of the seconds which is afraid is what we are going to do because no matter what the era or staff is, the panthers always seem obsessed with heavy physical receivers that make contested catches constantly in college (red flag)
  20. One year wonder that never got speration. Imagine mingo light with short arms and small hands.
  21. I get that for sure but I think hes mostly just saying the same stuff the old grumpy guys say.
  22. I feel like if hes on the huddle then its clearly you based on all your comments on this post lol
  23. Not speaking for me. He comes across as a casual fan. Which there's nothing wrong with.
  24. To be fair it shows how overvalued Burns was compared to what some Burns fans thought he was once that 30m price tag he was wanting was factored in.
  25. Yea need two. I would personally prefer Wonnum and Young though. Clowney would be my odd man out of the 3 depending on the deals.
