Mr. Scot is still concern trolling about Cam Newton not winning enough I see. This years Panthers better show up this weekend so we have something else to talk about.

Guys in here laying it on a little thick trying to polish up that turd from yesterday. Chiefs fans obviously know it's only preseason. They've got the track record and hardware the last several years in the regular/post season to back it up. Whereas the Panthers...well... we know.

All along I had tempered and reasonable expectations for this season. IE very possibly a losing season with some glimpses of hope for the future and maybe sneaking in a run for the division or a playoff run if we're lucky. But getting dragged up and down your own field even in preseason is a significantly lower bar. Seen plenty of that the last few years. Reich and co have their work cut out for them. I'll give them time. But I'll call an ass whooping like I see it when it happens.

It's preseason not much of this even matters. But the oline struggles will absolutely translate to the regular season. I know my Panthers by now. Beyond that the lack of effort at home where our record has not been at all pretty the last several years is going to leave a bad taste.

Cam is done. But there's still time for you to develop a personality my guy. Just give it a little more effort 🫡

Absolutely all true. But to play devils advocate. We as Panthers fans once upon a time rationalized the ineptitude of the Matt Rhule era. From now on it's best to call a turd when you see one. That was today. Good news is it's only preseason.

There's still a whole quarter left of this? At the end of the day it's preseason you don't want to read too much into things. But the Panthers media did a good job of hyping up the staff and bringing in old faces with connections to the team aka the emotional factor. Seen all that before none of it wins games. Hopefully things look better next week.

Well we can end the celebrating about how elite our OL was now. Still lots of work to do.

Some people are going to be upset if DJ Moore has a big year which is very likely. Hopefully Bryce will be in the midst of his own solid rookie season and we won't hear too much about it.

Aaron Rodgers saying it carries some weight. Brady Quinn is irrelevant.

Everyone has an early favorite early in the draft process there were things to like and cons for both top QB prospects but once the draft neared within 2 weeks the obvious became clear. When the pick was made I was fully on board. That's what adults do. Sports aren't that complicated. I hope our new QB has a solid game today and the offense shows us flashes that give us hope for a fun season 🫡

S2troud? Some of ya'll are compensating for something I feel nothing but sympathy for anyone still holding on to a beef back during the pre-draft process. It's no way to live.

I think you could count on one hand the number of fans here who would be happy if he has a bad game. As far as injury every fanbase will have a meltdown if their franchise QB is injured. Well fair or not there are high expectations for a number one pick. And we didn't just fall into the top pick we moved up. Different people have different standards. And truth be told going even further this is all child's play compared to the hate Cam Newton got even when he had our franchise contending and made us relevant instead of an afterthought. He was repeatedly made to be the villain in the media too. Bryce Young isn't going to get that treatment. So long as he has this franchise on a competitive path only a few knuckleheads will have anything negative to say about him. I'm just going to enjoy the ride who knows how long it will last.

It's important to see a certain level of production but I do not give a single fug about winning a preseason game.

To each his own I guess. I could see bragging rights if the team he plays for were a division rival or a conference rival even. But he plays in the AFC. I'm not putting Bryce under a microscope and I'm not expecting that for the rest of the QB class either. Unless they are just dogshit and it's undisputed you have to let them get a full season under their belt. Piling on Stroud or whoever only invites criticism toward our own rookie when he makes mistakes which are going to happen. I believe we made the right pick based on what I've seen so far. But I also know what to expect from a rookie quarterback so I do not have really high expectations for this season other than to see an offense that is fun to watch.

Early? It's the first week of preseason lol. Whichever QB who went to Houston was going to face an uphill battle. Folks need to learn to separate draft prospect discussions from a personal vendetta bc it's not healthy to carry this years from now which I can tell some of you might.
