  1. I don't think it was about that. He gave that buffoon Matt Rhule plenty of control. But Rhule and Harbaugh are too very different men. Jim Harbaugh would have flat out told the Tepper's to GTFO if he felt so.
  2. I've said all along Ben Johnson is likely in for a rude awakening in Chicago. The Bears are an extremely dysfunctional organization and have been for decades now. I'm not going to throw stones though. There's still a whole season of upcoming football to play. And the fact of the matter is even with that QB and that staff they bullied us. IMO this will either be a decent season or a top to bottom train wreck for our Panthers. And if it's the latter there will be plenty of info coming out that will paint folks in our org in an unfavorable light. Take this 24 hours or so to enjoy the brief bit of peace here.
  3. Definitely Hurney. Rhule was deathly afraid of developing a rookie QB.
  4. Chicken is the main meat I've paired with mustard based. But I've also put it on burgers. It depends a great deal on the sauce brand. This one is the best I've had. https://www.truemadefoods.com/collections/bbq-sauces/products/pitmaster-carolina-gold-bbq-sauce-no-sugar
  5. Why are you so argumentive over something from almost 11 years ago?
  6. Ejected for spitting less than one minute into the game? On the one hand it's comically stupid. On the other hand I'm almost impressed with the disdain for an opponent. I mean I've seen so much milquetoastery from my football team over the last few years alone I guess I just expect guys to be smiling while their teammates are getting wiped off the field.
  7. In 2015 we won many games by a razor thin margin and overachieved. Sure we blew the doors off a few teams but by and large the tale of the 2015 season was the core talent of the team on both sides of the ball pulling out close wins.
  8. I think people might be selling Dowdle short though. I get we paid Hubbard all that money and we need to see a return on the investment but Rico should be plenty capable behind this OL. I'm fine with that. Just want to see Canales and his QB orchestrate some game winning drives.
  9. "If you start critiquing the platform endlessly, your stank will have consequences. Keep it football, not carolinahuddle journaling." Sounds like you need to read that thread again.
  10. We went out and invested what $150 million in two interior olinemen in FA last year? That makes any RB better. To me. Canales will take that next as a head coach step via our identity in the structure of his passing scheme. That's what I want to see and what will make me feel better for the future regardless of what happens with QB.
  11. It's about a mentality and a culture. Some more storied and consistently competitive franchises can have things like that in their locker room. I don't see us as being anywhere near that yet.
  12. I've seen this golf simulator in the locker room mentioned prominently a couple times and it makes me wonder if the team has a realistic understanding of the concept of optics. I sure hope these guys come out swinging big sticks in Jacksonville on Sunday.
  13. That's not what we bought with Bryce or Canales though. We could have kept Wilks all along if we just wanted to be a ground and pound until the wheels fall off offense.
  14. Running game wasn't the problem at all last year and we've added much more to that room. As much as I want to see this team win some games early I do not want to see a herculean effort from Chuba or the rest of the run game to achieve it. We've got a lot tied up in the passing game and ultimately that's why we hired Canales.
  15. Ok yeah see my post above. I feel like that is a direct challenge to his starting QB.
  16. Let's see how his team looks the first two games and go from there. I agree there is simply no excuse to look like a peewee team again.
  17. The only way that would make any level of sense is if Canales is just fully trying to put our third year #1 overall and pick and the passing offense in sink or swim scenarios early in the season. Because if you look back to the stat logs for that stretch of games where the offense looked "better" with Bryce. Chuba was more often than not the catalyst.
  18. Vinegar based with classic pulled pork is excellent. Mustard sauce isn't for everyone for sure. I can understand why some want no parts of it. But it really depends on the meat you are pairing it with and what kind someone is trying. They are by no means all created equal. There's one brand in particular that I like but now you have to order direct from them and it's fairly pricey.
  19. Why not both? He's been a convenient scapegoat for some. That's been a consistent theme these last few seasons with our QB room. Hopefully they silence all of it over these next few games.
