Baker will be up and down like he has been in his career thus far but he will capitalize on big plays where Darnold failed because he was just a terrible decision maker with the football overall. For Baker to be a success Matt Rhule has to level up and stop getting consistently outcoached on gamedays. You can rabble on about haters but other coaching staffs know Matt Rhule's tendencies by now and they will be looking to exploit that regardless of who is the quarterback.

It's all in your head. Last year you were all about Sam Darnold being held back by Adam Gase and Sam was going to turn the corner like Ryan Tannehill and anyone who thought that might be very presumptuous were just haters.

Right and that was Rhule just playing the same smoke and mirrors game that fooled no one then and still fools no one now. There are four years of tape on Darnold doing the same things he's always done.

This whining about not "handing" a QB the job cracks me up. We had open discussions about whether Darnold was being coddled last summer after he was handed the job and many people said such assertions were nonsense. Now look at us.

He's here he's better than Darnold and yes that isn't really saying much but if he doesn't work out it's back to the draft probably. No sense rehashing these complaints not for how much he is making compared to Sam.
